Finally, this war has started. But now all I need is Ceres. And somehow she's gone into hiding. I looked everywhere and nothing. She's gone. Her whole family is gone.

"You won't find her," I looked back at Kitty. She became a traitor. "I thought being bad was good. But I was wrong."

Father had chained her up. To the wall. He even cut her ears and tail. I felt bad.

"Kitty, why don't you just obey father like you used to?" I said. "Maybe he'll set you free." I gave her some water.

"Never, he killed my mother," she said. "And he killed yours. But you don't want to believe it. And now he will kill your stepmother too. Once he gets what he wants from her. Which is another child. You can stop him. I know you care about her." I don't want to believe it. Nothing of what she says is true. She's trying to manipulate me. I was about to say something. When I heard a loud explosion. Smoke filled the room. And when it cleared, Kitty was gone. They came for her.

My father rushed out of the room. He looked angry.

"They took your stepmother," I looked at my father. He had a scratch on his cheek.

I winced. My shoulder burned. Lately, it has been aching a lot.

"Go," my father ordered some of his demons to go after them. "And you continue looking for Ceres. We need her fast." I nodded and left.

I flew around the empty town. Well, I knew some humans where hiding. My father had ordered not to kill anyone. He wanted them all alive. I kept flying. As I did, my shoulder began to hurt, once again. The pain was so, awful; I had to land on a rooftop. I sat down and rubbed my shoulder. Why did it hurt so much? Maybe it was Ceres making it hurt.

As I stood up, something flashed past me. I thought it was a bird. But then I felt something wet on my cheek. I touched it, and it was blood. My blood. That was no bird. I looked up and saw someone. The person was dress in all black. It was a female. She had bright white hair, and her face was covered up by a mask. So I couldn't see her eyes. She had a scythe. A reaper.

They have been coming out a lot. Trying to stop us but the strange thing is, the scythe she held was double-sided. And it was the first female reaper I have seen.

"I will stop you," she said. Her voice sounded weird, demonic. "I won't let you hurt a single soul. This town doesn't belong to you!" She flew to me so fast; I barely had time to dodge. She's really, fast in her attacks.

Each time she attacked me, I had to react quickly. Her attacks were strong. Each blow sends an intense wave of energy, almost throwing to the ground. She got me a few times. Who was she? I needed to know. Each time she was close. I tried to take the mask off. But she would always slap my hand away. We fought for a long time. I was getting exhausted. And she wasn't even tired.

"Give up," she said.

"Never," I rushed toward her. She dodged me. Now she was behind me. I felt her place her hand over my mark.

"You aren't just a demon," she whispers. "You are more than that. You are.." I didn't let her finished. I swing at her. But like always, she was fast. And this time she was gone.

What did she mean I was more than a demon? These riddles are really, getting annoying.

I went back home. But I didn't tell my father of what happened. Getting beaten by a reaper, worse a female reaper. He'll surely call me weak and pathetic. I'll win next time we encounter each other.

For the next few days, I fought her. Each time I went out. I encounter her. And each time I would fail. It was getting annoying.

I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. I don't know how I can sleep with all this chaos going on. My father is slowly invading each state. But it's hard when there's a barrier around this state. This barrier is to keep us in.

I groaned and closed my eyes. Soon I began to fall into a deep sleep.

"Blake," that female again. "Why? Why must you one your father? Please don't block me out anymore. Let me tell you the truth please, son."

I snapped and looked around. Soon things became more evident. A woman began to form. She looked like me.

"I'm glad you upon up to me, my child," she smiled. "All this time I've been trying to get you to let me in. But it seemed your father had fogged your head with false lies."

"Lies?" I frowned. "Who are you?"

"I am your mother," she said. "I'm Vivian. You are my son. I gave birth to you. But your father took you away from me. He kept me locked up for years until he wanted another child from me. And so Michael was born. But he froze him. Then, later on, gave him to your stepmother. You should believe Kitty. That man killed her mother."

"How do I know you're not lying?" I asked.

"Because," she walked closer to me. "I've been watching you all this time. That girl Ceres, she's a tough girl she helped me, as I have helped her. You should protect Ceres before it's too late."

"Ah," I frowned. "What am I?"

"You are a half-demon, and half-angel," she said. "That's why you have that good side of you. Don't let your father taint that good side. He's so close to making your heart black as coal. I want you to be good. Listen to her. She knows better. Ceres knows how to make you good but if you decided otherwise. You will suffer."

Then she was gone.

I woke up sweating. My father lie to me! I got up and got dressed. I was going to confront him, but I heard him talking to his men.

"Ceres is back," I heard one of them say. "She's going around drawing thus strange markings. We've tried to erase them. But if we touch them, we burn."

"Curse her," my father growled. "Find her and bring her to me!"

"Isn't your son doing that?" I tensed.

"My son," my father laughed. "That good for nothing. I won't need him anymore. Because once I have Ceres. She will be mine. She will birth one of my strongest children. I have decided to keep her instead of using her as a weapon."

No. I won't let my father do that. I have made a great mistake. Now I must fix them.
