I had talked to my father about what happened. He said it's time to make a move. But when I try to use my powers, that mark will burn. Father couldn't remove it. Only the person that put it there can take it away. And that was Ceres.

Also, I had asked him to keep my mother and Michael safe. Surprisingly, he agreed to it. So this morning, a truck came and moved everything to a better house a house that is protected by barriers. My father had told my stepmother that the house we were in was contaminated. She believed it. So we moved. While mother fixed the house up, I took Michael to the park.

"Careful," I said and stopped him from going into the street. "I'll get it." I walked over and grabbed the red ball. When I heard back, a man was offering Michael some candy. "Hey." I pulled Michael away.

"Don't worry, I'm giving out free candy, from my shop see," the man pointed at the store where a lot of kids and parents were gathering. "It's a new shop; I'm trying to promote."

"Okay," I grabbed the bag of candy. The man walked toward another group of kids. "Never speak to a stranger Michael."

"Okay," I smiled and set Michael on the bench. "Ceres?

"I don't know," I said. I haven't seen Ceres since well Christmas. "She's probably busy."

We sat there eating some of the candy which was not poison. After that I let Michael play for a bit. But I had this strange feeling. I don't know what it was, but I didn't like it. I just wanted to go home.

"Michael let's go," I said. But I couldn't find him. I swear he was right there. "Michael!" Then I spotted him. I ran over but bumped into someone.

And it all seemed to happen so, slow. I helped the person pick up a book. When I looked up, I saw Michael run after the ball. I immediately ran after him calling him to stop. That's when I heard the screeched of a vehicle.

"Michael!" I yelled. But I wasn't fast enough. The car tried to halt but it was too late, the car didn't stop on time.

All I saw was the red ball rolling to a stop, near Michael's body. I just stood there frozen. I could hear people screaming and yelling to call an ambulance. All I could see was red. I snapped out of it and ran over pushing people away.

"Michael," I cried. He was face down with a deep gash on his forehead. "I'm so, sorry." The ambulance arrived. Michael was still alive, barely. On the way to the hospital, I called my father.

"What?!" He sounded angry.

"Michael g..got ran over!" I yelled.

"It was them!" My father yelled. Them? "Those reapers!"

My thought from today came rushing. That man was giving out free candy, that was off. Now that I think about it, there wasn't any new store opening on this street. And that person I bumped into to. It was a distraction. The book I picked up, it wasn't a book but a death book. Those bastards! They planned all this. If Michael dies, they will pay for it.

Once we arrived at the hospital, my stepmother was there, with my father. I had to look away; I couldn't look at her.

"It will be alright," she said. "Michael will be okay." I tried my best not to cry. Especially not in front of my father. "Where is he?"

"He's in the emergency room," I said she hugged me. I hugged her back.

We waited for hours to get some news about Michael. When we did, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. There was nothing the doctors could do. Michael was brain dead. They had him on life support. They gave us options. To remove him from life support or to keep him on life support. Mother didn't want to let go of yet. But we had to. He won't come back. So mother agreed to take him off. I couldn't take it and left.

I ran, I didn't know where I was going. But I needed to leave. I can't stand to see my stepmother like that all broken down. I ended up in the city, sitting on the tallest building. This world is unfair. As I sat there, my phone rang. It was Ceres.

"Blake?" She sounded agitated. "Where are you?" She asked. And I just broke down.

"I'll make sure you pay!" I said. "Your father will pay for this! For taking his life! This problem was only supposed to be between him and me, and he took it out on Michael! I'll take my revenge, by taking what he loves most. I'll take you down first; then all will fall like falling dominoes." I hanged up.

I didn't mean to be harsh. Damn, why was I feeling guilty? I gripped my phone and looked up at the sky. This world shall go down. I've lost everything. There's no point in saving this world anymore. It's time to unleash my full power.

I'll start by crushing Ceres. I'll force her to unleash her power. I'll get her angry. And to do that, I'll need something from her. Maybe her mother, or brother. Aren't they important to her? I winced. The mark burned me. I guess I can't do that. It seemed every time I try to harm Ceres; it starts to hurt. But I must fight it off.

"Oh sorry about your like brother," Kitty sat next to me. "I really, am sorry."

"Go away," I said.

"Maybe he was right," she said. "Didn't he warn you, that you were going to regret it."

"What are you talking about?" I glared.

"That reaper," she stood. "Anthony, he warned you, and you didn't listen this is your fault. Maybe if you didn't obey father, Michael would still be alive!"

"Since when do you care?" I stood up.

"I always cared," she said. "But I always had to obey father. I don't like father. I hate him. I hate him more than ever! He killed my mother! Just like he killed yours. And Michael, you know who he is. He our brother! That's right. Michael is your real brother, you both have the same mother. I heard him one night talking about it with his slaves! It seemed he had frozen Michael in a time capsule. And later on gave him up to that woman. She made that woman believe she gave birth to Michael. But is all an illusion. Father is a bad man. Who only lies. Why do you think father is so, angry right now?"

It can't be true Kitty must be making this all up, but I have never seen her cry before. Then I thought back to what Ceres said that Michael looked like me. Did my father plan all this? I don't know what's real anymore.

"Michael death will start this war," Kitty said. "And I won't join you. I rather join the good side. Now that I know what's true." Kitty jumped off the building.

I need some guidance. Someone to tell me what's really, going on. Because all this is so confusing, I don't know what's real, or what's not.

Please, someone, help me.
