Jacob had just come home from a long day on the set of The Maze Runner. Your now sat on the roof above his bedroom, gazing at the sunset. You and Jacob have been best friends ever since you were little, but everyone knows you have something going on.

You were each others first kiss, dance and crush. But you've never really addressed where you two stand, you've just been going with the flow and have accepted your kind of relationship with him.

He held your hand in his, tracing his thumb across your knuckles as you watch the sun go down.

"So Zoa, I've been thinking.." He says, avoiding your eye-contact.

You decide to not say anything, and he takes that as his cue to continue.

"I want to make something of this." He says, gesturing to you and him. "I've given it a lot of thought, and I've decided it would be great if we were actually dating."

"Is that so?" You laugh, turning your attention to him.

"I've decided to give you the honour of being my girlfriend." He nods, bowing his head.

You throw your head back in laughter, and Jacob joins in.

"I feel privileged, Jacob." You smile, "truly honoured."

He laughs at your reply, "so that's a yes?"

"Well you didn't really give me a choice," you laugh, "but yes, idd love to be your girlfriend."

He smiles sweetly before tucking a piece of stray hair behind your ear.

"I was hoping you'd say that." He says, before giving you a gentle kiss on the lips.

As you pull apart, your just in time to see the last few seconds of the bright yellow sun before it disappears below the horizon.

You snap a picture of the moment and post it on Instagram; "best night ever spent with the one and only @jacob_lofland"
