Once upon a time, my mother read to me the story of the little boy who was granted three wishes by a genie in a magic lamp.
His first wish was to be able to fly to the moon.
My first wish would be to get up from this uncomfortable hospital bed that entraps me with tubes, which prevent me to move from my laying position.
His second wish was to be able to breathe on the moon.
My second wish would be to go home one last time and walk through the hallways filled with memories before I join my mother in eternal sleep.
His final wish was to have a house on the moon.
My final wish would be to fast forward to the place and time where the pain on my father's face would morphs into happiness.
But unfortunately for me, unlike the boy, I have no magic lamp that contains a genie that can grant me three wishes, which will spare me from the constant pain of treatments and shield me away from my father's pain.
