You're Never Safe Alone (ON HOLD)

The Parkour Session

Chapter 2

            "Ok! For your first Parkour session, we will begin with a simple jump over this cardboard box, which is approximately a foot and a half." explained Liz. The 5 of her friends lined up about 6 feet in front of the box for a running start.

             "On your mark...Get set...GO!" shouted Liz as she watched her friends run and jump over the box. Justin, Yaya, Kevin, Sandy successfully jumped over the box. Jahlani still made it ,but had some stumbles.

             "Ok, who wants to see some real Parkour??"exclaimed Liz as she viewed her surroundings until she found a decent wall. She back up about 2 meters away from the wall and started running. She did a cartwheel, a round-off and climbed over a 7 foot wall.

           "You see my friends that is parkouring" Liz said as she pulled herself up to sit on the top of the white bricked wall.

           "I could probably do way more better just like I did in trunk lifting. Remember 19 Inches??" boasted Kevin as he walked up to Liz with a victory dance. Liz hopped off the wall and walked towards Kevin.

           "Alright I'll admit I lost to you in a trunk lifting test, but I can beat you in so many other things!" exclaimed Liz as she laughed.

          "You can't even beat me in a race so I wouldn't be talking if I were you. How about you prove yourself right to me that you're so called awesome by racing and beating me in a race? " added Liz.

          "Alright I'll race you, but if I win you have to admit you like Kameron." laughed Kevin followed by several laughs and 'ooos'.

          "I'm not gonna lose anyways and I DON'T EVEN LIKE KAMERON! Oh if I win, you have to go kiss Yaya and go out with her, but I depends on how bad I beat you will determine if you have to go out with her." stated Liz as she lined up and got ready in a 4th position to race.

          "Where is the finish line?" asked Kevin as he got ready in his racing position.

          "From that blue house's garage and back." pointed Liz. Justin walked in front of Liz and Kevin to start the race.

         "ON YOUR MARK... GET SET.... GO!" yelled Justin as Liz and Kevin sprinted towards the blue garage.

       "Oh my gosh! I hope Liz wins so I can date Kevin!" squealed Yaya as she jumped up and down.

      "You so would. I know you too good Yaya." added Sandy as she cheered for Liz and Kevin. Liz and Kevin were on their way back, running neck to neck. Justin laid down on his stomach to get accurate results of who won.

       "And the winner is...LIZ!" exclaimed Justin as Liz and Kevin crossed the finish line.

       "Since we were neck to neck, you just have to kiss her." laughed Liz as she caught her breath from racing. Kevin walked over to Yaya and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and quickly wiped his mouth with his right arm sleeve. Yaya overflowed with pure happiness and ran straight to Liz with a hug.

      "THANK YOU LIZZY!" repeated Yaya as she hugged tighter and tighter with every sentence.

      "I think we are all exhausted from this race slash parkour session. Let's take a cool-off walk and eat some of those donuts!" exclaimed Jahlani as everyone agreed. The group of friends walkedback onto the sidewalk and began their stroll in the night...
