"Look who decided to hatch from their egg?" taunted Liz as she jogged in place. Jahlani laughed at Liz's comment and began to talk to Sandy about who was gonna win on a small left out, rectangular desk.
"Wanna bet? How about..... 3 dollars?" asked Jahlani as she pulled out 3 crispy dollar bills out of her makeshift pocket from in her P.E. pants.
"On Liz and Dylan? Them two?" questioned Sandy as she hesitated to call Yaya over.
"Yup, 3 dollars on who will win. Dylan or Liz. Winner takes ALL." said Jahlani while Sandy beckoned Yaya, Justin and Kevin to come.
"We are betting on whose gonna win. Who wants to bet?" explained Sandy as she placed her 3 dollars on the table, which combined with Jahlani's 3 dollars.
"I will!" said Justin as he pulled out his small leather wallet from his jacket and placed 3 dollars onto the table as well.
"Me!" squealed Yaya as she pulled 3 dollars from the inside of her bra and slammed them on the table.
"You gonna bet Kevin?" asked Justin as he folded his wallet and placed it back into his jacket.
"Nah, I'm good." he replied as he turned around and shot glares at Dylan's turned back.
"What's with you and Dylan, man?" sighed Sandy as she counted the bidders money.
"He's trying to steal my title!" exclaimed Kevin as Sandy laid the money on the table, walked over to Kevin and gave him a pat on the back.
"Awww, Kevin. There is no need to be jealous of a new kid that has recently been attend the school and is slightly better than you at something." said Sandy as Kevin pushed away from her and began to scream on how he wasn't "jealous".
"I am NOT, I repeat NOT jealous of Dylan!" retorted Kevin as he made a girlish scream and flailed his arms at Sandy. Jahlani rolled her eyes at Kevin and began to speak.
"Whatever Kevin. You know you are jealous of him." said Jahlani while Kevin ranted back at her.
"Oh my gosh! Who cares if Kevin is jealous! Let's just hurry up and see who's gonna win! I NEED MY MONEY!" barked Yaya as she stood on the start line to give the race commands.
"Alright, who puts their money on Dylan?" questioned Sandy while Justin and Yaya swung their hands up.
"Well I guess that leaves me and you on Liz." said Sandy as she divided the money into 2 piles, each holding 6.
