Chapter 4

"Whoa, this place looks bigger than it does on the outside." Liz said as she talked to herself. The floor creaked with ever step she made as she walked across the floor.

"HELLO? ANYONE HERE?" Liz asked as she explored the abandoned manor. She lurked through the hallways of the mansion and gazed at the pictures that hung on the walls. She saw portraits of a different symbol hung in the hallways. The symbols of earth, fire, air, water and the astral bodies (AKA THE SUN, MOON AND STARS) went pasted her eyes as she admired the unique design of each symbol. Liz shook her head to undistracted herself from looking at the portraits and focus on the reason she came here.

"Where the hell is that cat?" Liz questioned as she kept walking down the symbolic hallway. MEOW. meoOOOW! Liz stood still as she heard the cat's purr and began the follow the noise. MEOW. meoOOOW! Liz heard it again and followed the cat's voice through the labyrinth of the Tardis like manor.

"Ok we need to hurry up and find Liz and get the hell up outta here! Sandy, what time is it?" asked Yaya as she dusted off the bits of dust on her lite lime stretch pants, yellow flower patterned dress and her long black hair.

"ADVENTURE TIME! Jk, It's 11:27." joked Sandy as she high-fived Jahlani and tucked her phone back into her pocket.

"LIZ!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?" screamed Justin. Kevin held up a 'Be Quiet' gesture and covered Justin mouth with his hand.

"Listen!" Kevin whispered as he removed his hand from Justin. MEOW. meoOOOW!

"Ok, let's just follow the cat's meowing and go get Liz's nec-" Kevin stopped as Jahlani interrupted.

"Necklace and give it to Liz so she won't refuse to leave the house!!" Jahlani said jubilantly as she finished Kevin's sentence, giving both Sandy and Yaya a high-five.

"Whatever, let's just hurry up and get the necklace and get the frick out of this cold place." Kevin said as he zipped up his sweater and tucked his hands into the pockets. Sandy lend the way, by making a sharp right turn into the corridor.

"Damn, it's cold in here." complained Liz as she pulled out her Rainbow Dash Hoodie from her blue backpack and put it on. Meeeeowww! MEOW! Liz stopped zipping up her sweater half-way and followed the cat's purr down the labyrinth of hallways until she came face to face with the black cat sitting in the middle of a two staircase-d room.

"Listen buddy, give me my necklace black and this whole thing can be over and you can go drink some milk!" Liz's explained as she ran and failed to tackle the cat.

"Hey! Come here you lil' pest!" Liz whisper/yelled as the cat trotted away with Liz's necklace. Liz ended up in a room that looked like a guest/lobby room. It had a huge red rectangular sofa with a ornate coffee table with a mini clock and a vase of a dozen withered roses facing a rock styled fireplace. On both sides of the fireplace stood two great grandfather clocks ticking in sync. Velvet curtains outlined with golden sequins hung from ceiling to floor, draped along the glass windows. in the middle of the three great windows stood a long table with a vase of a dozen roses, each with 6 candle lit candles on both sides of the vase.

"Lit candles?" Liz questioned herself as she turned around to see the cat sitting right in front of her. There it was, her necklace, only a yard away from her grasp. She spotted a bundle of yarn on the couch with knitting needles and slowly sidestepped  toward them and back. Liz's kneeled in front of the cat showing the yarn in her hands. The cat slowly walked over and grabbed the yarn and sat on Liz's lap. She pet it for a minute to calm it down and slowly unclipped the necklace and restored it to her neck. She let out a huge sigh of relief.

"LIZZY!!" screamed Yaya as she startled the cat making it run for it's life. Liz got up dusting her pants. Yaya gave Liz a huge hug almost suffocating her.

"We finally found you! Where were you?!?" asked Sandy as she put her hand on her hip.

"I was running after that cat, trying to get my necklace. But everything's ok, I fou-" Liz stopped as the door slammed itself shut.

"Check if it's locked Justin." Liz asked as Justin went over to try to open it.

"It won't budge!" Justin said as he tried to turn the knob.

"Lemme try you weak lil' boy" insulted Sandy as she tried to turn the door, but came out with the same outcome Justin had.

"Exactly." said with a glare as Sandy pulled out her fist in defense. A mighty gust blew from nowhere, blowing out the candles like a wave at the beach, leaving the room smelling like smoke, wax and roses.

"At least we got moonlight." added Liz as untied her hair.

"This was a horrible idea to run into this unknown house Liz" Kevin complained as he placed his hoodie over his head.

"It was Jahlani's idea to take this stroll!" added Liz as they both stared at Jahlani.

"You guys all agreed with it so DO NOT blame me!" Jahlani explained in her lecture voices.

"L-L-L-Liz-z-z turn a-a-around." murmured Yaya as she pointed at a dark figure creeping toward Liz. Everyone began to back up toward the door's wall except for Jahlani, who was to busy proving her point.

"And that's why none of this crap is my fau-AHHHHHHH!" screamed Jahlani as she pierced everyone's ears and ran toward the wall with everyone else. A black hooded figure emerged into the moonlight behind Liz holding a blue glowing liquid in a syringe.

"I'm not falling for that one you guys." Liz said not amused.

"LIZ TURN AROUND!!" screamed Sandy as she hid behind Jahlani.

"You guys stop playin- OUCH! WHAT the-" Liz landed unconscious with a big thump on the floor. The hooded figure yanked out the syringe out of Liz's shoulder and pulled out a tranquilizer gun and aimed it towards Sandy, Justin, Yaya, Kevin and Sandy.

"Take 30." snickered the feminine hooded figure as she shot each one of them solid in the leg or the chest as each one of them fell unconscious...
