Chapter 3
"It's always feels good to take midnight strolls." said Kevin as he put on his hood and tucked away his hands into his pockets.
"That's what she said." blurted out Sandy as everyone laughed while Kevin looked confused.
"I don't get it. All I said is that is feels good t- Ohhh. I'm so stupid." said Kevin as he noticed his words. Liz pulled out her powdered donuts and began passing one out to each of her friends.
"Ok, try it and give me a 5 star scale." asked Liz as she bit away at her mini donut. All of her friends looked satisfied and gave rate of 4 or 5 stars except Kevin.
"What's your rating?" Liz questioned Kevin as he nibbled at his donut.
"I'll give you 5 stars," answered Kevin
"Yes!" Liz shouted with an arm gesture.
"out of 100." finished Kevin.
"Well, if it was that bad...I guess I'll be eating your donut then!" laughed Liz as she pulled out a donut.
" NO! Wait! It was good, now gimme my donut!" Kevin said as he snatched the powdered donut out of Liz's hand and popped it into his mouth. The group of friends crossed a number streets and began to notice they didn't know were.
"Aye Liz! Do you know where we are? I haven't been over here before and I am not trying to get lost." questioned Justin as he kicked a small tan rock into the street.
"Ya, I know where we are. We just passed to park so I know where we're safe." answered Liz as she walked up to the front of the group.
"You guys! Look!" Liz shouted as pointed at a black cat running across the street. It stopped it's running streak as it stopped in the middle of the sidewalk staring at them.
"AWW! It's SOOO CUTE!" exclaimed Yaya as she speed walked toward the black cat.
"Yaya! Stop! You're gonna scare it!" Jahlani screamed as grabbed Yaya's hand. Liz walked slowly toward the cat while it made no effort to run away. Liz carefully kneeled 1 foot away from the cat and beckoned it to come her way. The cat didn't move, but only stared at her. Liz collapsed herself to walk on her hands and knees and came 4 inches closer to the cat. The cat's eyes glued on to Liz's golden necklace which dangled down her neck with a Celtic protection symbol weighing the necklace down. The cat began to purr and walk closer to Liz.
"Damn. Liz is good with cats." commented Sandy as she watched Liz interacted with the black cat. The cat walked up to Liz with a great leap and stripped off her golden necklace and began running away.
"HEY! COME BACK!!" Liz ran as fast as she could while her friends ran after her and tried to keep up, but it was to late. The cat had out ran her by 3 seconds and had slipped itself through a gate and through a hole at the front door in an old abandoned house.
NO TRESSPASSING! THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN BLOCKED OFF FOR SAFETY REASONS!
"I'm gonna kill that cat when I get my hands on it!" Liz yelled as she got on the floor and surprisingly squeezed herself through the gate's hole and ran up the porch stair towards the hole in the door.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU LITTLE KITTY!!" screamed Liz as she got down to crawl into the door hole.
"LIZ!!" screamed Yaya as Liz crawled and entered the abandoned house.
"Come On You Guys!" yelled Sandy as her crawled under the fence and through the door hole as she friends followed her into the old abandoned house in the middle of the night...
