School Life As A Super Natural

Chapter 10 

                       "GAH!" Liz screamed while she wus awoken by the song, "High Life" by Daft Punk. Her phone rapidly buzzed as she picked it up and tapped Dismiss. The sun beamed through the white blinds that hung in her room and reflected into her face.

                       "Oh my gosh, I hate the sun." muttered Liz as she turned herself to sit up. Her eyes quickly grew as she saw sky blue feathers scattered all around her bed. She quickly bent down to pick up all the feathers in fear of her mom thinking some crazy scenario and punishing her. She placed the feathers into a secret compartment in her backpack, for safe keeping. She rapidly rose up to get herself ready for the land she called, Drama City.

                      Liz had found a small spot she could land and cover up her wings with out no one being suspicious. From a distance, Liz spotted Yaya and Sandy chatting away by a small ash tree. School starts at 8:15, but she came at 8:00 so that gave them 15 minutes to catch up. Liz jogged quickly as possible over them as her wings bounced around on her back.

                      "Oh hey Liz!" screamed Yaya as she ran to hug Liz. 

                      "Hi San-DYY!" jolted Liz as she was picked up in the air from Yaya's suffocating hug. Sandy poked Yaya in the stomach, which made her drop Liz from her constricting arms. 

                      "Thanks, what's up?" said Liz as she pulled her hair to the side. 

                      "I learned some cool plant tricks, from yesterday and this morning. Wanna see?" joyfully said Sandy as she twirled her golden united-kingdom mustache necklace.

                       "AWESOME! Heck yeah, I wanna see." said Liz as she dusted her jeggings. Sandy spaced out her feet about 2 feet apart, closed her eyes and began moving her hands in the rhythm of the winds breeze. She started to make a cracking sound out of her 5 fingers which were all double jointed. As she cracked her thumb, one leaf broke off the tree. As she cracked her index finger 2 leaves fell off the tree, on her middle finger, 3 leaves, on her ring finger, 4 leaves and on her pinky, fell 5 leaves.

                        "What's 1+2+3+4+5?" asked Sandy as she open up her eyes. Liz looked up into the sky and began to calculate the equation while Yaya jumped on one of the leaves that fell from the tree and made crunchy noises.

                        "15!" shouted Liz as Sandy answered with a simple nod and chuckle. She closed her eyes once more and cracked all of her fingers at once and 15 leaves all fell from the tree at once, hitting Yaya and Liz.

                          "Nice trick! Could come in handy to distract Ms. Levi or blind her from the dust and pollen." said Liz as she gave Sandy a hive five followed with a fist bump.

                           "OH YEAH! I ALMOST FORGOT TO TELL YOU GUYS!! Did you hear about the new kid coming to the school! I heard he was super cute!" shouted Yaya as she bounced up and down.

                           "REALLY?!?! OMFG!" said Sandy as she jumped with Yaya. Liz rolled her eyes and leaned against the ash tree.

                           "Meh, I'm not really into boys. Wait, IS HE A FAST RUNNER?!?!" asked Liz as she began to panic.

                            "I don't know! I HAVENT EVEN MET THE BOY!" said Yaya as she bounced with Sandy.   

                            "Where is Kevin and Justin?" questioned Liz as she looked in all four directions.

                             "Over there by in the shade by the school." said Sandy as she pointed at the school's entrance.

                             "Who wants to scare the heck out of Kevin?!?" added Liz as she began to laugh.

                            "I DO!" yelled Sandy as she high five'd  Liz.

                            "Yaya! You gonna distract Kevin while me and Sandy get ready to scare him, ok?" explained Liz as she and Sandy ran across the school's front and made a turn towards the backs of Justin and Kevin while Yaya galloped herself towards Kevin.

                            "Hi Kevin! Hi Justin, Parker and Myles!" greeted Yaya she tightly hugged Kevin.

                            "Help me!" mouthed Kevin to Parker as Yaya hugged tighter.

                            "Poke ATTACK!" said Parker as he poked Yaya's stomach, making her let go of Kevin and laugh.

                            "Did you guys hear about the new kid??" said Myles as he hopped on the brick rail on the school's stair entrance with Parker.

                             "Nope, What's his name?" asked Justin as he took off his messenger like backpack. 

                              "Dylan. He sounds like a nice dude from what I'm hearing about him." said Parker as he picked at a leaf off a rose hedge that circled the school. Sandy and Liz were 5 feet from Kevin and Justin, about to jump and scream as Justin turned his head and caught them in there tracks.

                               "DANG IT JUSTIN!" shouted Sandy as Liz smacked Justin in the back of the head.

                                "WE WERE 5 FEET AWAY FROM VICTORY! WHAT THE HECK JUSTIN!?!?" yelled Sandy as Liz jumped on her back. The school bell rung and swarms of middle schoolers entered the school and infested the hallways.

                                 "TIME FOR HELL!" shouted Kevin as everyone laughed and entered the building and walked to their homerooms or lockers....
