This girl skipped down to the beach, her feet were blackened with mud. She had blisters on her feet and twigs I. Her hair. She moved a branch out of her way then giggled as is showered water drops onto her. She wore a dress, ripped and old, the birds that decorated it once white now brown. She's 11 years old and has no family. She's homeless but happy.

Unlike you, you have a house, new clothes, shoes on your feet, a family and food, but you're not happy.

She ran down towards the waves, dips her feet in the ice cold water, she looks up and sees you sitting on a rock, alone. She walked up to you, you turn to face her, she runs off, you stay. Only some minutes before she comes back. She hands you a flower. You are speechless. You slip off your shoes and hand them to her. Your Nikes are taken gratefully.
