Life isn't fair
People aren't fair
Nothing is fair
And once we can move past the fact that nothing is fair
We can start living our lives
Not just sitting there complaining about how it's not going in your favour
Is it fair we have to fight for our own freedom
Is it fair that, that soldier fought for his country and lost a friend in doing so
Is it fair that, that woman has been trying for a baby, and once she fell pregnant, she had a miscarriage.
Or that, that orphan will never knew her parents?
People fight for a fair world, die for fairness, give up everything just so they can have a chance at creating a fair world which will never be achieved
Because life is selfish and not everyone will win
So once we understand that nothing is fair, we can move on and make a better tomorrow
