We were both walking to our cars, you and me. It was nice to be just us and the cars.
We were drenched from head to toe and our hair was messy from the rain.
We just talked, told each others things that have happened to us, it was bliss.
My thoughts messed up in my brain, I was confused about him and about you.
I couldn't concentrated properly.
But before you left, I turned you around and hugged you, and everything in my brain died down.
I was just happy being in the moment. Cheek against cheek, arms wrapped around each other and the rain coming down on us.
You asked if I could be yours, I told you to wait, we smiled and went home.
I went home, with a warmth in my heart, I was happy I met you.
