I must've called a thousand times,
to tell you i'm sorry, for everything that I've done

"that's it. have a great stay!" a brunette named jessica had finally finished with the tour she was giving me. i flopped onto the bed, face down and let out a long sigh. i was at my dream school, but i was as lonely as ever. coll and ashton were back in la and i hadn't made any new friends so far. it was mid October, so everyone had already found their closest friends when i was just settling in.
reaching for my laptop, I sat up and positioned it on my lap. after a good 10 tries of me getting my password wrong due to laziness, I finally got in and typed in the website for my school. clicking around for various things i could join, i found the sororities and fraternities. I'd always imagined myself staying in by myself, but what if I joined a fraternity? i found one i liked called kappa alpha delta. it said to meet at the food court tomorrow for new pledges. smiling to myself, I then turned on some Netflix, happy that I had a plan.

----------

it was noon the next day and i had just arrived at the food court. two other guys seemed to be there for the same reason as me. one had a blonde buzz cut and looked somewhat friendly. the other one had a black hoodie on with the hood up so i couldn't see his face. i shrugged and continued waiting. suddenly, a group of guys in gold and white shirts that read KAD, approached. they looked like jocks and that certainly intimidated me but i didn't say anything. I was desperate for somewhere to belong and this was one of my only options.
"welcome pledges, to kappa alpha delta. here at KAD, we value loyalty, honesty and teamwork. if you don't stand for any of those things, you can leave now." the guy in front of me said, his strong accent evident.
everyone stayed where they were. when I turned to observe the pledges, I noticed one I hadn't seen before. he had brown hair and a nice jawline. i shook my head, remembering ashton.
"you're late." the guy talking earlier said to the new guy.
"sorry."
"anyway, come follow us. we'll show you our house, and then we can talk about initiation."
everyone followed the 6 guys wearing the somewhat tacky shirts. it was a fairly long walk, maybe 15 minutes. the guy who was late earlier walked next to me.
"i'm andrew. you are?" he asked, a hand stuck out.
"luke." i smiled and shook his shockingly soft hand.
"here we are. before we get started, I forgot to introduce everybody so let's get to that, before I forget." a polite round of laughter sounded throughout our herd.
"I'm Dessi." the only guy talking the entire time said.
they went down the line of 6 guys; Dessi, Rodger, calvin, emmett, Dan and zack.
the house was huge, basically a mansion. the letters KAD were on the front, gold and proud since they stood out on top of the grey coloured house.
we slowly entered the house and stood in front of the 6 guys.
"this is were we all live. there are 8 bedrooms only, which means two of you will get cut." dessi explained. andrew and i shared a look, hoping we would be the two to stay.
"initiation starts today, and we basically run you guys through some tests to see if you'd fit in at kappa alpha delta. it lasts a week so all of you will move into this house and two of you will actually end up staying. " Rodger chimed in.
"since there are only 8 bedrooms and there are currently ten of us in here right now, our first test is for the two bedrooms. the lucky two of you who do the best at this first test will get to stay in the rooms during initiation week. the other two will sleep on the floor." dessi said and the other guys laughed.
"so what's the first challenge?" buzz cut guy asked.
"you guys will team up in pairs and egg as many buildings on campus as possible. the pair who eggs the most buildings by midnight wins." calvin said with a smug look.

Oh no luke has gotten himself into some trouble...
do you guys think this is a good idea?
and what are your first thoughts on kappa alpha delta?
peace out!!
