Take my heart to the end of the world, fly away tonight

for our sleeping arrangements, we all finally agreed ; ashton and i on the bed, calum and michael on the couch, since it folded out into a bed. we settled down comfortably, and headed to bed.

the next morning, i woke up first and decided to make pancakes. it had kinda become a tradition of ashton and i, whoever wakes up first has to make breakfast. so far, it has been working great, since both of us are decent cooks. i made ashton's pancake with strawberries and whipped cream like normal, but i was a bit dumbfounded on how to do michael and calum's. you may be wondering why i cared so much, after all, they were just pancakes. the thing was, i wanted to impress them. get their approval. they were super important to ashton, so they should like me. which is why their pancakes were a life or death situation. biting my lip while looking down at the food i'd just made, i decided to put blueberries and whipped cream for michael and butter and sugar for calum. i quickly made coffee, hoping i put enough of cream, sugar and milk for the boys.
michael was the next one to wake up after me. he rubbed his eyes sleepily, and thanked me for the pancakes. he took a bite as i watched him intently, hoping he'd like it. his green eyes widened when his teeth sank into the thin cake.
"this is amazing, ashton is a lucky guy." he chuckles, half-joking, half-in all seriousness.
i grinned and sipped my coffee, being proud of my progress with michael. calum woke up soon after, and was super impressed with my coffee and pancake making skills.
"i mean, you should look into becoming a chef!" he giggled, his face scrunched up with laughter.
i blushed when they showered me with compliments. after the three of us were finished eating, we migrated to the couch where we watched, you guessed it; how i met your mother. it was my all-time favourite show, and it was a favourite of ashton's as well. apparently, calum and michael loved it too.
"who's your favourite character?" calum inquired as we sat on the couch.
"probably barney. he's my life goals right there." michael laughed.
michael was a bit cocky at times, but i kinda liked that about him the most.
"i like ted. he's a funny, laid-back guy." calum said happily, his feet on top of the coffee table in front of us, crossed.
"mine's robin. i think it's funny how they make fun of her being canadian all the time." i say.
the two other boys nod in agreement, understanding.
"mine is narshall. he seems like a big, tough guy but he's actually sweet and romantic." a slightly husky voice called out from behind me.
all of us turned our heads to see who it was. it was ashton, my baby.

"ashy, come here." i kissed him on the lips, his large hands were cupping my face. he smiled at me once we pulled back.
"come on dude, you can fool around with luke once we're OUT of your dorm." michael said in fake-disgust.
ashton punched him on the arm lightly.
"oh, shut up mate." but he was blushing a bright red colour.
