                                              Sakuma was hospitalized when he first got the disease, which was when he was younger (related to headcanon #1). His parents were very concerned (since he was their only child), but because they thought it was contagious, they just send him money for his hospital bills. He was really lonely on his first few months, but then Genda (his neigbor and friend) visited. Genda started visiting him daily ever since, and they've become closer within each day. Sakuma was let out of the hospital when the doctors weren't able to find a cure for him.
