i begin to study my script i don't notice noah had texted me until i check my phone.

hey you! xander has always been a snitch lmao. it's no big deal at all, it was bound to happen some time, right? i'd love to meet with you before then. hmu whenever!

i smile to myself and press the message button.

alright cool, we're filming wednesday, you should come down!!

sounds dope, text me the address and time? :))

i text noah the address to paramount and the times we're filming. dan doesn't have much of a problem with people watching the filming that aren't on nickelodeon, like the times my friends from minnesota visited.

i hear laughter from downstairs so i leave my bedroom to explore. the laughter belongs to mr. and mrs. norman and my parents.

"margaret, say hello!" mom nags.

"hello mr. norman, hello mrs. norman!" i say while waving.

"maggie, we've known you for how many years? we're nana and scott to you," nana says with a smile.

"yeah! mister and misses makes us sound old," scott chimes in.

i return the smiles and nod in response.

i start to walk back up but dad stops me in my tracks.

"margaret, come on, stay awhile!"

i make my way into the living room and sit on a chair that isn't occupied.

"mags, by any chance do you know jace's girlfriend?" nana asks.

i shake my head. "not much, i've seen her around and we know each other's names but i don't think we've said more than a few words to each other."

"consider yourself lucky," scott jokes, nana scolding him by hitting his arm in return.

"never mind my husband," nana says, rolling her eyes, "we don't know her a whole lot either, but we feel something off about her."

wow, even his parents see something is up.

"but noah, noah is a sweet boy. you have nice taste!" she says again.

"yeah! he's an absolute gem," i respond.

i sneak upstairs later to get ready for bed. before checking my phone for the last time, a message appears on my lock screen.
