Jewel's POV
I cant believe Jackson's scared of people acting on televisions. Placed the extra red paint that I placed inside my shorts and poured it all over the place. I hid inside the closet waiting for him to look for me. I knew something like this would work and will scare him to death. I directly hid when I heard the doorknob clicking so I stayed on my place and waited for him to open the closet. After he did open the closet, he got in seeing the fake blood and directly scare him. He has been saying fuck the past 10 minutes when we headed down the lobby and I just cant help myself but laugh.
"Why are you so evil?!"
"Its not my fault you're such a girl. I laughed"
Recalling the moment when he got inside the closet with his pale lips made me laugh even more that made him wonder why. I actually looked like a lunatic in front of him. His face changed wondering why I laughed. I know I look stupid so I had to tell him why and he ended up groaning in embarrassment.
"Please Jewel. I know I had a lot of embarrassing moments and I want you to keep them. Please Jewel I trust you"
Seeing him beg made me laugh. We both went down the lobby and checked the poolside. Sitting at the bench while watching the waves of the sea was satisfying
"Jewel?"
"Yes okay I wont tell anyone"
"Its not that. Uh what would you do if I'm falling for you? Would you give me a chance? He sincerely asked"
My heart pumped too fast than the normal heart rate. I knew he was serious but I didn't know what to say. For a long pause, he thought the question was lame and diverted the topic to something funny. Hearing the line gave me chills and goosebumps. One of Jackson's butlers interrupted saying that its time for dinner and Jessica is looking for the both of us. Really? Me? Oh goodness. We both got up and he escorted me to the restaurant.
I knew at some point that he found things awkward but I wasn't really sure of what I was feeling. Jessica popped and hugged me and Jackson. She introduced I guess Jackson's relatives to me. I could see the embarrassment and awkwardness on Jackson's face.
We didn't have a choice but to eat dinner with the older relatives. Tyler and the others were on the other table with Jackson's cousin. It was really weird that we had to be with the older generations. I was really nervous about it and so was Jackson.
"So when did you ask her to be your girlfriend? Jackson's aunt asked"
"Oh it was the twentieth sixth of September"
"I'm proud that you found someone special. So how did you find Jewel? Jackson's dad asked"
All of them looking so excited in knowing how. At this point, all I wanted to do is walk away and get out of this. Who wouldn't? I looked at Jackson and he smiled saying
"Dad, I didn't find love, I let love find me. That's why its called falling in love, because you don't force yourself to fall, you just fall."
Every one in the table giggled and continued eating. After minutes of talking, we both excused ourselves on the table and got outside to chill feeling the coolness of the air.
"What was that about?"
"Huh? He asked cluelessly"
"Dinner. The part where you sound like an author?"
"Nothing. I just gave it a shot. He smiled slyly"
"Yes. I breathed heavily"
"Huh? He curiously asked"
