Jewel's POV
I decided to go to the park since I got bored. What the hell was I thinking? Having sex with a stranger?! Dumb dumb dumb. The sun was shinning so bright as I sat on the ground. Pulled grasses and threw it as far as I could until someone sat beside me.
"What do you want?"
"Don't I get a hey?"
"What is it Tyler?!"
"Nothing. I guess you really had fun last night huh?"
"I don't wanna talk about it. Why are you here anyways?"
"Life making decisions"
"Right"
"Yeah. Why are you here?"
"Do you own this park? I believe not. "
"Actually I wanted to ask for another chance. I know Ive been a jerk lately and Ive always wanted you to know the real Tyler and not some cool jock"
"You call yourself cool? I laughed"
"Come on. He smirked"
"And why are you doing this?"
"Well, I really like you. I really do."
"What a funny joke. Oh my very funny. Get up were getting some ice cream."
Tyler's POV
I pulled away from Rachel and grabbed a drink from the table. Seeing Jewel with Jackson made me mad. Yes, I like her but I just cant tell her. Not this time but soon. Yes, guys like me are attracted to hot girls and sure she is one but I wanted to know her other side. Yes, shes hot, stubborn, and sure hell a bad ass but I know theres another side of her that I wanted to know. After the kiss she gave him, I was really pretty sure that I have feelings for her. Jewel McKinley. I left the party and drove away and went to Jewel's place. I climbed up and went inside her tree house waiting til she gets home. I recalled our memories and a part of me wanted something that doesn't involve sex. I wanted something special we both can remember.
A sound of the car woke me up. I hid and checked Jewel but she was with Jackson inside her house. I didn't know what they were doing but I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it. So after minutes had gone, I got down and decided to go to the park. Where everything is quiet and I can make decisions on my own. It was till I checked the whole park and saw a girl. She looked familiar but I wasnt really sure who until I went near her. Its Jewel. I breathed heavily and sat beside her nervously.
We had a little conversation and the worst part was when I actually spilled the fact that I told her that I liked her. She always take me as a joke and I get it. I play with girls a lot. She even knows that Im cheating on Rachel and the girl behind this is her. Why do I always have a messy life? She grabbed my hand and we headed to the stall. Her hand was so smooth and I wish she could just grab my hand forever. I sure sounded gay but Im really serious about her. I paid for our ice creams and walked around the park.
Seeing her smile with me is the best thing that has ever happened. We were now sitting on the swing while checking the clouds. She imagined a cloud that looks like a baby. She's just so adorable. I got up, pulled her swing and released. She got mad a first but enjoyed it anyways. I like seeing her happy.
"Tyler, I thought about what you said earlier and okay fine. A second chance would be great. Friends?"
"Friends"
I didn't expect it coming but friends? That's a great start.
