Jewel's POV
I chose to stay behind Tyler. My heart was pounding really hard while Tyler was trying to check what broke. I can hear myself breathing heavily while sweating. I was really scared to death. Holding Tyler's shirt was all I did the entire time. Then I found a cockroach near my foot. Because of the adrenaline rush, I was already in Tyler's arms. It was really awkward. Seriously. But I didn't have a choice. I hate cockroaches. They think that they are butterflies who look pretty when they fly like seriously?! Now, Tyler burst out laughing while my face was just so plain. While Tyler was trying to kill the cockroach, it started flying so I didn't care about all the awkwardness that was happening that I hugged Tyler so tight. That cockroach is really making my life a big mess. Now, may be he'll think that Im "cheating" against Jackson and he'll figure everything out that it was just all a lie. Oh my goodness. So I suddenly pulled away and ran towards my room but while running I told him that I'll be hiding there.
While I locked my room, I was breathing heavily and I became sweaty. But I started to wonder if it was a cockroach, why did something heavy break? How did that happen? Its impossible for a cockroach to have a strength like that. I heard Tyler call out my name so I just insisted him of coming up here.
"Nothing actually got broken or what so ever"
"What?"
"I checked everywhere"
"So are you saying that what we both heard was just our imagination. Like both of us?! Seriously?!"
"But there was really nothing"
My heart pounded really hard. I haven't seen a ghost or felt something ever. Why am I receiving these kinds of stuff. I was trying my best to change already. Damn it. I jut cant take it anymore.
"Tyler?"
"Yeah"
"Can you please stay with me tonight? Im really scared plus mom would be back tomorrow in the afternoon so its going to be fine. Please?"
Thank goodness he allowed. now he sat on the couch in my room while watching tv while I was studying.
I opened and realized that I fell asleep. I was pretty sure its now morning and Im late. I was covered in my blanket and my books were on the desk. I got down to check where Tyler was since he was gone. I rushed down and was relief when I saw him cooking.
"Seriously?"
"Finally, you're up."
"Yeah. Ive got to prepare for school so just wait here"
"Yeah sure. He chuckled"
Why is he weird now? I got up and brushed my teeth and was really shock of what I saw. I screamed Tyler's name and heard him laugh. He made fun of my face. Yes, we're friends but he's gonna pay. I erased the writings on my face and took a bathe. Minutes later, I got my bag and got down and placed my bag on the other chair and sat.
"Breakfast is serve"
"Cereals?"
"Yup."
"How about the bacon you were cooking? And the eggs and ..."
"Well, I cooked it so I get to eat it"
"You're so...."
"Hot. Thanks. He smirked"
I got annoyed and grabbed his fork with the bacon and ate it directly. He got shock because I took it directly. He opened his mouth when he saw me chew it.
"Now you owe me"
"Its my money, my stove, my house."
"Its actually your mom's."
"Then shes my mom"
He rolled his eyes and sat on the couch. Got the remote and opened the tv. I washed the dishes and tried to pull his hair because we're really freaking late. He directly stood up and fixed his hair and close the door as I sat inside his car. He drove all the way to school and parked on the park way near the field. I got out and was surprised when I saw Rachelle and the group walked near our place. I directly hid under his car until Rachelle and the girls were inside the campus. I got up and thanked Tyler for last night. I was about to go inside when Jackson suddenly popped out.
"I see what you did there"
"Get over it."
"So now he fetches you"
"Its not like that. Its a long story. I rolled my eyes"
"Whatever. But a deal is a deal. If people see you guys together you know Jenny's going to haunt me! You know she has a lot of sources. You promised"
"Chill! She's just a girl!"
"Yeah. Shes just a girl but her mom and my mom are business partners! There would always be a possible way that I'll marry her. Like what the f*ck Jewel."
"Now that's just romantic. I laughed"
"Jewel! Please! Im serious! "
"Yeah I will I will. Dont worry, Id be the maid of honor I whispered"
I left after our conversation. Woah, Jenny and Jackson? Hmm, it kind of sounds great. They're both J. Wait. Since I entered the picture, three J's. Now that's just really weird. I don't want to be in it. Jackson? Please! Bad boys are just so middle school. I got to dance practice and decided to stretch. Its just so weird that dance practice on Mondays are early in the morning while late on Fridays. Its just so not right. While stretching my limbs while waiting for our choreographer, I saw Camille from the door trying to call me. I stood up and walked near her.
"Hey"
"So you and Jackson are a thing now?"
"Well, yeah if thats what people call us"
"Oh. Congratulations. She gave a sly smile"
"So, lets have lunch together later?"
"Yeah sure"
She disappeared in my sight with a blank face. Its obvious that there is something wrong with her. I just hope she'll open up later. So far, she's the girl I can call my "best friend". Due to me being stubborn, Ive never got a friend who I can trust. Im not good at being a good friend but Im going to try for Camille. I got back to the dance floor and continued to stretch.
An hour had already passed and since I had a one hour break I decided to chill at a coffee shop near our building. The smell of coffee was addicting. Most of the students here are studying while others are chit chatting. I drank a sip of my frap when Jackson appeared. I rolled my eyes as I asked him what he wants. Why cant this guy just leave me alone? I don't see Jenny anywhere here.
"Hey"
"What now?"
"You have to help me"
"No"
"Yes you will"
He opened the envelope with lots of pictures of me and Tyler. I was in shock as I grabbed the photos. Every single moment I had with him was all in this envelope. I was furious and asked him in demand why he did this. Wasn't being his girl friend already something in return for his silence?!
"You got it all wrong"
"All wrong? Whats wrong is that you break promises for your own benefit"
"You've seriously got it all wrong! I paid the person who took these photos to get it. "
"Wha.."
"Yes. I scared the hell out of him too. Its all Rachelle"
"So she knows our secret?!"
