Last night was amazing I had an amazing time well I did until we bumped into some woman that Derek knew.
"Derek can we talk about last night?" I asked
"Why we had an amazing time didn't we?" He said sitting at his desk
"Well we did but who was the woman we bumped into" I asked and his face turned strange
"Eh just a friend from high school" he said obviously lying
"Derek don't lie to me who is she"
"Meredith listen I don't want you to freak out but in senior year I proposed to Alice"
"Did you marry her?"
I started to feel hurt at the fact that we've been dating for 2 years and he's never brought it up.
"No"
"Oh ok I'm guessing that's ok" I said getting up from the table
"Meredith wait that's not all" he said and I thought it couldn't get any worse
"Meredith the reason why I proposed is because I got her pregnant" he continued
"Wh-what" I replied shocked
"I don't know if she had the baby we ended before I could marry her"
"How long did you date her for"
"Meredith?"
"HOW LONG DEREK!!!" I yelled
"4 years we broke it off 2 weeks before I came here"
"So what your saying is that my boyfriend the man I thought I loved, the man that said we would never keep secrets...well now I know that man was full of it...we're over Derek so over" I yelled picking up my jacket and storming out.
