"Ah why did you have to go all football player on me my knee is killing me" I said holding onto Mark and Owens shoulder
"I'm sorry i just under jumped it and hit you" Mark said laughing until we got to my room and they let me hop towards my chair while they went back to their room.
"What did you do?" Meredith asked
"Owen practically tackled me blocking a shot and I went over on my knee" I replied sitting down
"So we're not going for lunch"
"No I'm sorry but why don't we order a pizza"
"Yea sure and I could massage your knee"
"Well I can't say no to that" I said picking up the phone
15 minutes later
"So I think you promised me a knee massage" I said moving over a bit
"I think I did" she replied coming over to me and putting her hands on my knee
"So Derek I saw you drooling over Addison earlier, do you like her?"
"She's not the one I like"
"So there's a one" she said laughing
"Yes Meredith......I need to tell you something"
"Shoot" she said looking at me
"Meredith the person I like is you I've had feelings for you since that first day" I said holding her arms.
She looked at me for a while until she pulled me in and kissed me until the door went.
"Pizzas here" I said smiling and hopping over to the door and getting the pizza.
When I returned to Meredith she started kissing me again.
"So I'm guessing by the way your reacting you feel the same way" I said in between kisses
"Yes I feel the same way Derek"
"Well Meredith Grey would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?" I asked holding her shoulders
"Yes Derek I will be your girlfriend" she replied
For the rest of the day we sat talk and did the whole relationship thing until my leg started to feel funny.
"Der are you ok" she asked realising my face was in pain
"No my leg feels funny it's numb but in agony" I said moving to my chair
"Right grab a hoodie and a shoe and I'll help you to the car your going to the hospital" Meredith said putting on her shoes.
"Ok" I replied grabbing a shoe and putting it on the foot that wasn't swollen then grabbing my hoodie.
"Right come on"
Meredith walked me down to the car then helped me in and we drove to the hospital.
