Chapter 13: The Ring

*Hayes's POV*

I stood in my room pacing around. "Hayes are you okay?" Kayla asked. "Yea yea I'm fine can we Uh go now?" I asked nervously. "Uh yea sure." We drove to her doctors office and she went inside. I went in with her and she looked at me. "Why are you so nervous I'm the one for a check up?" She asked tying her gown thing. "No I'm not nervous." I said. "Your lying." She said and I sat down. "I know I just can't tell you yet." I said frustrated. "Calm down it's fine I can wait." She said and the doctor walked in.

"Oh is he getting a check up to or just you?" He asked. "Just me." She said and i clenched my jaw. It just has to be a guy right. He checked her breathing and I shifted a little. She looked at me and smiled. He did other stuff but once he got to the part where he touches her I almost flipped. She started laughing at my reactions. I went on snapchat and took a picture of him and captioned it. "Of course a guy doctor has to check my girlfriend😒"

She stood up and he had to check her spine so she had to bend over and I coughed. "Ok we will have another doctor come in to put a boot on your foot." He said and left. She came over to me and sat on my lap. "Jealous Hayes is my favorite kind of Hayes." She said and kissed me. "Why do you have a guy doctor?" I asked. "I had a girl until last year." "Well I don't like him touching you." I said. "Hey it's fine it's just for my health don't worry I'm all yours."

The same doctor came in and I rolled my eyes. "Babe behave." She said and got up. "Ok so I'm going to do your boot." He said and I went on my phone. The guys texted me the same thing: Wow Hayes jealous of a doctor😂. I shut off my phone and looked back at Kayla and she was looking at me. I smiled and she smiled. He changed her cast to a boot and she stood up. "Okay get dressed and I'll meet you at the desk." He said and left. "That mother fu-" "Hayes!" She said shocked. "Sorry." I said.

"Let's go." She said grabbing my hand. We walked to the desk and she paid. We left and I drove us home. "So what are you so nervous about?" She asked. "You will see when we get home." I said making a turn. "Stop being jealous all the time." She said and I stopped at the red light. "I'm not jealous anymore." "Well like I said jealous hayes is the best hayes." She said and I smirked. "Well stop attracting guys." I said and she laughed. We got home and I opened the door for her. I turned on the lights and the boys did a great job.

*Kayla's POV*

I looked at the living room and it had blankets everywhere and movies stacked high. "Hayes this is so cute." He pulled me over and we just watched movies the whole time. "Why did you forgive me?" He asked looking at me. "How could I not? Your blue eyes tell a lot." I said looking up at him. "So I have something for you." He said and took out a box.

"I promise to never let you go. To always be here for you. To never hurt you. To never make you cry. To marry you one day." He opened the box and I was a ring with a bow. "Hayes that is so adorable." I said hugging him. "I promise to marry you one day no matter what." He whispered. "I can't wait for that day." I smiled and we finished watching the stack of movies:)
