Hellbound

Chapter Seven

I woke up and my body was sore. I turned my head and saw Sammy laying besides me with her eyes closed. I kissed her cheek and stood up putting on pants and a red shirt. I looked in the mirror and slightly fixed my hair. After using the bathroom and brushing my teeth, I looked out the window and thought to myself.

This is dangerous, something bad can happen. What if Kal targets Sammy since I have feelings for her? I need to protect her now. I heard movement and saw Sammy getting up. She stretched and looked at me. Her beautiful eyes caught mine and I stared at her.

She stood up wearing only a bra and underwear. She walked up to me and kissed my lips. I grabbed her waist and pulled her back in. That's when I felt a powerful energy surge through the sky. It was Kal. I stepped back.

"So that was fun" I said.

"We should do that again some time" she told me.

"You should get going" I told her. "I'm having some family over and I don't want them to know I'm with you. They start asking questions and it gets annoying."

"Okay" she said. She changed and walked out of my apartment. I kissed her goodbye and I saw her go upstairs to her apartment. I sighed a sigh of relief.

I turned and saw Kal standing over me. He smiled and grabbed my shoulder.

"Nice girlfriend Mason" he said. "It'll be fun carving her body. Ha ha ha!" I bursted in anger and tackled him. I pushed him out of the window onto the fire escape and kicked him down.

I jumped down and landed on his chest. "Tsalb fo thgil" I blasted light on his face and his head banged back into the floor. He kicked me off and I banged my head against the wall.

"If you touch her I'll kill you!" I yelled at him. He laughed and stood up.

"Don't worry" he said. "I won't do a thing to her. As long as you promise me one thing. You will turn yourself into a demon and rule under my command. Also you'll help me in my plans."

"No" I said. "I would never serve under a demonic monster like you."

"Then there will be negative outcomes" he teleported away. It was getting me sick and tired of him teleporting away every single time we come across each other.

I walked into the building and up into my apartment. I heard movement in my apartment and heard Daeda talking. I walked in and saw Daeda and another man in a red cloak.

"And here's the man I was talking about" Daeda said pointing at me. "This guy is a powerful warlock and has killed many demons. He can aid us in killing Kal."

"Um Daeda?" I said. "Who the hell is this you just brought into my home?"

"A man with gifts" he answered. "He has been hunting demons and is trying to stop Kal as well. He knows everything about Kal and his plans and can help us fight him. This is a trust worthy man trust me."

"Nice to meet you" I said shaking his hand. "I am am Mason James, you are?"

"I am" he began taking off his hood. "Prince Vlad the Impaler. Or as you may commonly know me; Dracula."

"Dracula?" I said. "A man of your talents can be extremely useful. But since when have you hunted demons?"

"Since they killed my wife" Dracula began. "Many years ago Kal murdered my wife and I want revenge. But there is more in play here than we thought. He plans on taking over every demon entering Earth. He intends to use them to kill Lucifer and take over Hell and destroy this planet. I can't let that happen, and I know you can't either. We must all work together to stop him."

"I have nearly beaten him before" I told him.

"I saw that battle" Dracula said. "He wasn't even using a fraction of his power. He can beat you if he wanted to. He needs you alive and I don't know why."

"Isn't this one great band of heroes" I said sarcastically. "A warlock with a burning soul, a vampire king with a burning vengeance and a demon sorcerer with a burning passion of saving Hell and Earth."

"Perfect" Daeda said. "Me and Dracula will go down to Hell to plan something. You stay here and fend off these Angels and Demons okay?"

"Got it" I agreed. They walked into a portal leading to Hell and vanished. Dracula, the king of Vampires, what a team we got here? I'd never had expected he'd be someone to help a human warlock like me. Guess I was wrong.

I walked to the roof to think about my next step. I looked over the city and surveyed the city around me. Kal is somewhere out there, planning his next step. Maybe killing Angels and recruiting the demons that he saves. It's hard to believe that a monster like Kal was once a great angel.

Wait a second that's where I need to go. Maybe if I find an angel and go through a portal to Heaven I can find something out. Someone can't open a portal to Heaven because it is protected by Divine Barriers to block demons out. Hell however is not blocked and people can go in there.

Back to the point. Maybe I can go into Heaven and speak to Michael the Archangel about his son, maybe that way I can find his weakness.

Time to go to Paradise.
