Hellbound

Chapter Eleven

I yelled in pain as my body scorched in flame. I have been having episodes, sort of like before, were my demon side bursts out energy and burns me. My body still has to cope with the fact that I am part demon now. My mind has coped with that fact but my body hasn't adapted yet.

Daeda has been teaching me how to control that other side from bursting out, but no improvements. Kal wanted this to happen but I don't know why. I have only gotten stronger from this change so what does he want from me?

I thought maybe he wanted my demon side to destroy the Earth, but he knows damned well Michael and the rest won't let that happen, I'm not that powerful to fend off all of Heaven. Maybe he just wanted me to loose my mind for the sake of it, but demons don't do something unless they get things in return.

I turned to see Sammy rush in the fire extinguisher and put out the fire. I stopped and took a deep breathe. She knows about the things happening to me, and I love her for not leaving me because of it. She hugged me and her warmth made me happy.

Every time I felt down about this demon crap she would always come and make me happy. I have never been so attached to someone besides family. Maybe because I spent most of my life in Hell and hunting demons. When all this is over I just want to leave and live a normal life now.

I have looked too long for the demon who killed my mother, and now bad things are happening. I need to move on from that and just be happy once all this is over.

She looked at me and kissed my lips. She stood up and walked back into her living room. I feel bad making her live with all this stress of having a demon warlock for a boyfriend. I can't ever thank her enough for not leaving me.

I stood up too and walked up to her. I hugged her and she looked at me.

"Thank you" I told her.

"For what?" She asked.

"For not leaving me" I answered. "After all that's happened and now that you know I'm part demon. Yet you decided to stay with me and keep me happy. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I love you."

"I love you too" she said. After making out for a good five minutes I stood up and stretched.

"I have to go see Daeda" I said. "See you soon baby." I teleported into Hell. Daeda gave me a charm that allows me to teleport to Hell without draining my energy. He used that before me so now his energy drains from teleporting.

I saw Daeda pacing back in forth in his temple and I walked in to see him and Dracula arguing.

"We cannot just storm in there and kill him!" Daeda yelled.

"If he comes for us he'll be ready" Dracula countered. "If we catch him by surprise we might actually have a chance against him."

"Kal, off guard?" Daeda said. "He is one of the most powerful of all demons. He will take us out if he used all his strength."

"We have Mason" Dracula yelled back. "With his new found strength we would be able to beat Kal against a fight. You felt that hidden power inside Mason when he became a demon did you not?!?!"

"So glad to see I'm loved" I interrupted.

"Mason" Daeda said. "Please tell Dracula that I'm right."

"No" I said. "No offense to you mentor but I believe Dracula is right. If we catch him by surprise we may stand more of a chance against him. If, no, when he comes for us, he'll have an army behind him and we will be caught by surprise." 

"Thank you" Dracula said. "We need to bring the fight to him, we can't just wait here for him to attack us."

"Fine" Daeda gave up. "Just now that this was your idea." Daeda teleported away in frustration.

"So" Dracula said. "How are you dealing with your new transformation?"

"It's not easy" I answered.

"It wasn't easy for me either" Dracula began. "Turning into a vampire was a tough break for me. My whole world changed, but I found some good behind it. Besides the thirst for blood I used it to catch other monsters."

"How about your connection with Kal?" I asked. "Why is it that you want him dead and will help us by risking your life?"

"You know" Dracula said. "He killed my wife did I not tell you. We were in love, the first love I felt in centuries. But he went on s rampage and killed her during it all. Since then I want revenge against that bastard."

"Oh that's tough" I said. "I just need to take him out because he is trying to kill me and take over Hell. Speaking of ruling Hell why don't we let him. He can take out Lucifer and solve lots of problems."

"Ha ha ha" Dracula laughed sarcastically. "You think Kal stands a chance against Lucifer. He'd be lucky to come within a foot from Lucifer. Not even lucky, it'll be a god damned miracle."

"Is Lucifer that powerful?"

"Yes he is" Dracula began. "Lucifer is the most powerful entity in the universe. Besides the Creator but he doesn't involve himself as much as Lucifer. Lucifer will destroy the Earth by breathing on it, but of course Angels and The Creator are always trying to stop him. A matter of fact he can hear us talking about him now."

"He sounds serious" I said.

"Trust me he is" Dracula said. "Even I'm afraid of his power. Daeda is even more afraid because he has seen Lucifer in action. He won't even have to move to beat you up."

"Wow" I said. "Don't wanna get on his bad side."

Suddenly we heard a loud crash and saw Daeda fall on the floor in front of us. He was all best up and weak. I looked up to see Kal, Boogeyman and an army of demons.
