Hawkstar's Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II (Friday, Jul 15 12:13 am)
Bring a change of pants, a pack of tissues, and your favorite stuffed animal to snuggle when you go see this movie. The epic conclusion to the Harry Potter series lives up to its word in drama, suspense, and just plain badass use of visual effects.
The directors of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II" made the right decision in the visual effects department. From giants to dragons, dementors to suits of armor, the crew in animation and visual effects did a fantastic job in designing and bringing these characters to life on the screen. The fine details and sleek animation style really makes the characters seem as they are really there.
Carter and Rickman never fail to disapoint, with stunning performances on both parts. I totally cried at the death of Snape. The movie was packed with action and suspense. It was like reading the book al over again. Overall, I give it five stars our of five. This movie had me on the edge of my seat, and brought out the child in every man, woman, and teen in the theater.
Though the stunning and world-changing series has reached its end, it will live on in our hearts, as part of our childhood. No matter how old you are, Harry Potter brought out the childish love of magic and mystery, dragons and unicorns. Now, it lives in everyone and I, at least, will introduce my children to the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter.
