when tyler arrived home he gave his mother the groceries and she thanked him before putting them away. tyler opened his pack of red bull taking what would be his second can this morning and walked out of the kitchen chuckling as his mother jokingly shot him a disapproving look.

he got back to his room and sat on his bed going over some chords on his uke and humming along to different lyrics he was trying to piece together. after a while of trying to find a line that would rhyme with "i wish i found some chords in an order that is new" he gave up and lay back on the bed "why do I always have to rhyme" he sighed closing his eyes and staying like that for a few moments enjoying the quiet.

he dug his hands into his pocket to retrieve his phone. a text notification appeared on his screen when he turned it on and he smiled to himself. it's nice having someone that wants to talk to me he thought.

tyler let go of the breath he didn't realise he was holding. he was so scared josh would think he's weird and stop talking to him.

im horrible at updating sorry this took so long!!

i feel like this story is really bad because i've only been getting motivation to write it in the middle of the night at like 4am when i can't get to sleep but i'm still tired idek rly (see I'm even rambling in the notes) anyway I hope you're all enjoying this story so far even if it is kinda crappy!
