~ Chapter Two: Dictionary To The Face, And Suspension. ~

~~ Piper Aphrodite Rogers ~~

Even in the fifth grade, Piper was the outcast.

Instead od going to lunch, she roamed the library for books she may enjoy. As the ten year old silently stalked down the isle, her slender fingers gently brushed the spines of the books, her color changing eyes scanning the words for something interesting to read. She always enjoyed the library while the other fifth graders enjoyed their school lunches, which, weren't very appealing at all.

However, it was sometimes for her to enjoy the silence of the library when her ex best friend, Davis Mathews, followed behind her with his friends, teasing her and calling her names such as Nerd. Of course, she didn't mind being called a Nerd. He was basically calling her smart. Though, usually she'd never use a book for physical violence, that had changed today. When Davis had crossed the line and talked about his Dad and how Piper didn't have one. That was a sensitive subject.

"Davis, stop being an asshole!" Piper shouted in her usual high pitched voice.

His friends gasped, shocked at Piper's unusual and colorful language. Unlike his friends, Davis only smirked.

"Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me, Ticci Piper."

Without thinking (and with a slight tic), Piper grasped the dictionary she was holding, and slammed it into Davis's face, causing him to fall to the carpeted ground, and grasp his now broken nose.

"How's that for words hurting you, bitch!" Piper shouted, before running away, only to be held back by her homeroom teacher, Ms. Strong. The teacher glared down at the ten year old beauty.

"Come with me, Rogers."
