~ Chapter Four: A Mansion Of Killers. ~

~~ Piper Aphrodite Rogers ~~

Piper stared at her Mother in horror; There was no way her sweet Mother was a killer.

However, as much as Piper wished it weren't true, that it was all a lie and Zalgo was only her imagination playing a twisted game with her, it as in a fact the truth. Piper resisted the urge to cry. She had taught herself at a young age not to cry, she was stronger than that. But, something told her that these tears weren't the emotion of sadness. These tears would be the emotion of anger and betrayal. Would it be fair to say her Mom was also her betrayer? She loved her Mother to death, however, Piper wondered what else her Mom had done to deceive her.

"He . . . He was r-right." Piper whispered, expecting no one to hear. "You did l-lie."

Everyone looked at her, the man with the blue mask, the little girl with the teddy bear, the guy with a carved in smile and the one who was a doctor, each of them stared at her in confusion, wondering who 'he' was. Piper tried not to notice the strange looks she earned with those two little sentences. Her mind raced, images and words flashed in her head. Everything she remembered from the 'dream' was coming back. The seven mouthed demon, the screams of horror in the background, even the terrible heat radiating from the darkness was all coming back to her.

"Pipes, what are you talking about?" Clockwork asked. "Who's 'he'?"

Piper looked at her Mom, no longer angry nor sad. Instead, Piper felt confused, worried. Should she tell her Mom about the dream? Or should she just keep it to herself? Maybe if she said something it wouldn't happen again, and they'd be able to leave and go home to Grinny. Though, at the same time, Piper knew she wouldn't be leaving until she spoke. However, she was too afraid to speak. The image of the horrifying being came rushing back into her head, and she almost fainted. However, the two doctors (Who she found was named Doctor Smiley and Eyeless Jack), were right there to help her.

"He s-said his name w-was Zalgo," The others gasped.

"You got a message from Zalgo?" The little girl, Sally, asked.

"What did he say, child?" Slenderman 'asked'.

"He told me - "

Piper had been cut off when the door swung open, and slammed into the wall beside it. A man, fairly tall, stood there. His face was covered by a black mouth guard, and his eyes covered by orange goggles. He wore jeans and a dark colored hoodie, the hood up on his head and tuffs of dark brown hair sticking out from underneath it. On his sides, were two hatchets clipped to something which held them without difficulty. One looked shiny and new while the other was dull and rusty, both with dried and fresh blood sticking to the blades.

The man let down his hood with his gloved hands, looking directly at Piper as he removed the goggles and mouth guard, revealing tanned skin much like Piper's, dark brown hair which was tinted girl, also like Piper's. The corners of his lips twitched upwards, as he looked down at the ten year old girl looking up at him. He spoke, and what he said; Piper knew would forever be burnt in the back of her mind.

"I'm Ticci Toby, or Toby Rogers. T-Though, you c-can call me Dad."
