"Faree" she softly calls for him
he imediatly jump up from the chair he was sitting next to her bed. rubing his face
"Yes Nicki..I'm here..I'm here"
Tears started falling down his face.
"I thought I lost you" he says, trying to hug her softly
"Are you ok" she ask him, trying to touch his face..."where's mommy"
"Yes I'm fine, and you're gonna be just fine too...Mommy was here, she must've gone to the bathroom."
"OK" she says"How's my Baby"
He looks at her, completely ignoring her questoin.
"are you ok, is something hurting you...you want me to call the doctor" .. he asks her
"no, no..its ok..I'm fine" she says in a low voice
He slowly sneak his head out the door looking in the hall way to see where Mama Carol is comming from. while she's walking towards him, she notice the smile on his face and walk even faster.
"what is it" she asks as she reach him
"Come" he says pulling her hands inside the room.
Mama Carol walks in and Notice her daughter's big beautiful brown eyes open looking right at her for the first time, for the last three days she's been with her. she feels something hot in her stomach, she holds it, and imediatly she breacks down again.
"My Baby" she cries, moving closer to her...softly, touching her hands ... "Thank you God" she says looking up.."thank you, for giving me my Daughter"
"Mommy" Nicki says ... "Mommy how are you".....Tears running down her face
"I'ts ok baby..Mommy's fine..don't cry...we're getting out of here soon"
She hold her mothers hand so tight, wishing she could just get up and hug her like she always do. as SB is stading next to Mama Carol watching her having her moment with her daughter, he hears a footstep walking toward their room. he opens the door. Drake walks in, give SB a Handshake, and Kiss Mama Carol on the chick. he walks toward Nicki.
"Hey Baby" he says
"What are you doing here".. she asks..."Go back to your baby mother"
SB Looks at Drake with a confuse facial..Drake looks back at him not knowing what to say....he wanna talk to Nicki but he can't do that now, because he don't wanna piss her off. He walks out the room, SB Follows him.
"What is she talking about man" .. he shouts at Drake
He continue walking away without answering SB....He rans after him, grabs him from the back and Punch him in the face and broke his nose.
"What did you do to her" .. SB screams louder
right when he was about to punch him again, the securities come running and screaming. "Stop it..Stop it" SB let go of Drake, and pushes him down, and walk away. The securities ran after him..."Leave him" Drake shouts...."Let Him go..I deserves this"..he gets up and walk away. SB look back at drake and shouts..."Don't you ever come close to her again...you hear me..Never" and walk back to Nicki's room.
He walks in, looks at Nicki and Mama Carol. "I'm sorry" he says...He's not coming back here again...Mama Carol looks at him, grabs his hand and walk out the hall
"What happened" she asks
"I'm not sure Mommy, but I think he got and other woman and a Baby"
"He wouldn't"..she says..."he wouldn't play with her like that"
"Where is he" she asks.."I wanna se him"
"He left, and I told him not to come back here again"
She look him in the eyes, and give him a tight hug. "Thank you for Always being there for her. you're the best thing that ever happens to Her, and I'm sure she knows it"
"It's my pleasure Mommy, I Love Nicki and I would do anything in my power to protect her"
she smiles at him not knowing that He actually Loves her Daughter in a more than Friend kind of way. He smile back at her, and make their way back to Nicki.
by the time they walked back in the room, Nicki has already fallen asleep so SB decided to take Mama Carol out to get something to eat right across from the hospital. Mama carol and SB havent have a little mother and son conversation in a while so they take advantage of this momment. seeting across from eachother she can see that SB look a little nervouse.
"are you ok son" she ask him
"yeah I'm fine"... "Mommy"? He call
"Yeah"
"can I ask you about releationship"
"sure..we can talk about what ever you like"...she touches his hand and smiles at him
"Ok"..he say ... "If you've been inlove with someone for sooo long, but you afraid if you guys go any further than being just friends, the priceless friendship that you have with that person could be ruind, but you don't want that at all..what would you do in that case"
"HMM" she looks at him and smile, having an idead of who He's talking about ... "You know son, in life we must take chances. they might not end up how we wish they do, but what matters is we had the guts to try anyway...its better to try and fail than to never try at all and live with "What Ifs forever" she says to him ...
"so what do you think this person should do"...he asks her
"I say he or she takes a chance...you never know son, the feelings might be mutual."
"Thank you Mommy...he say..."you're always so helpful." he gets up and kiss Mama Carol on the cheek....they stay there for about 2 hours interacting.....than they walk back to the hospital_.
"I had a good time" she says
"I did to. thank you for the date"... she smiles at him, and pat him on the back.
"You're such a gentleman" ... she says
"Thank you"...he says bluching.
