Another sunny day in the city of UK. It has been 6 years since I left Osaka, my birth place and the place where I left my precious memories. Since it has been so long, I don't even remember anything that happened there, considering that I was over burdened with studies.

Yes, today was just any other typical day; me studying like crazy to get enrolled in the new international academy, while my mom talking on the phone downstairs. The bright golden rays of the sun made its path into my room from the glass window, making a clear rainbow on the floor. I squinted my eyes fondly as I looked at it.

(Why do I get this feeling that I am forgetting something...?)

I held my chest as I thought of this weird feeling bubbling in my heart. Just then, my mom came barging in the room.

"Honoka! Guess what?! We are gonna go visit Osaka for a bit, how does that sound, huh?!"

I could see the sparkle in Mom's eyes as she entwined her fingers and came close to my face.

"What?! Really?! W-Wow... I can't believe that I will finally be returning to my home country!" I replied cheerfully.

My mom nodded and told me to start packing and leaving for the airport.

"Aren't you gonna call the guys to tell them?" My mom asked on the way.

"Huh? Oh, no. I want it to be a surprise!" I answered.

At the same time...

"Hey, Yukiya! What's up?" Yamato whistled as he walked up to Yukiya who was sitting on a bench in the local park.

"Nothing much..." Yukiya whispered as he stared off in the distance.

"Hmm? What are ya looking at?" Yamato asked as he turned to look at where Yukiya was looking.

"I was just thinking... Wasn't this the place where 'we' used to play as kids?"
"Oh yeah... Man, I can't believe she left 6 years ago..."

They both became silent for a moment.

"Wanna drink...?" Yukiya questioned as he offered Yamato a drink after gesturing him to sit down.

"Oh, thanks!" Yamato answered as he sat.

"You know, you have gotten pretty nice to me when she left..."

Yukiya blushed a little, but then cleared his throat and began, "Well, it's because now we are the only ones together so I figured, why not make the most of it?"

Yamato smiled and added, "Yeah... thanks bro..."

They both looked at each other and laughed.

"I wish she came today to visit us... I really miss her even though we keep in touch!" Yamato said sadly.

Yukiya nodded in return as he looked down. They were having a lot of fun now that they were getting along better and setting their differences aside to really become besties. It might probably be because they became more mature; Yukiya was now 22 years old while Yamato was 21 years old.

...

I looked at the beautiful sunset as my plane was flying above the clouds. The beautiful purple dipped with orange and all the shades of yellow were visible in my vision. It really was a marvellous sight to behold! Even the clouds were dyed with the colours of pink, purple and yellow, a perfect fit and also a perfect 'welcome home'.

It really did bring a nostalgic feeling within me. I smiled to myself in return. It wasn't long until I started to see the city below me come into view.
