Chapter 31: Parties

I woke up to a cold bed and turned to see slightly that Castle was in his office. I smiled at him, watching his fingers move over the keyboard. He was working hard, He looked up from his keyboard and saw me. I blushed heavily. He then got up from his desk, and trotted into the bedroom, sitting down on the bed and grabbing my hand. I smiled and asked, "How's the writing going?" He looked down at our hands and sighed, "Ok, I guess, but Gina wants me to go to a book signing tonight. I just got the text." 'What time?" "6:00-12:00." "But that's so long." "Then go with me." "What?" "Come on, you need a night out." "But what about James?" "He can come too." "He's 4." "Right..." I laughed hitting Castle playfully on the chest, "I think about it." "Really?" "Hell no." "Ok."

I then sat up, kissed Castle and headed for the shower. When I got out I came into the kitchen to see James and Castle. Castle was saying something about a party. I immediately knew.

"Castle!" I said, startling him and James. "Can I go mommy?" James said making puppy dog eyes. I gave Castle my look only to see Castle doing the exact same look. I sighed and walked over, wrapping my arm around each one. "How could I say no to my boys," I started ruffling their hair, "Oh wait like this...no. James this party is for adults."

"A birthday party is for kids." James retorted. "You told him it was a birthday party, Castle." "It is." Castle finished. "Yeah Andy is having a party tonight. For his 4th birthday." James said looking at me confused. "Oh then sure, Dad and I will drop you off, ok?" "Yay!"

Castle then walked around the counter and enclosed me. "So is that a yes for the party?" he asked raising his eyebrows. "Fine." I replied biting my lip. Castle's whole face lit up and he kissed me with passion. I pushed him back and then kissed his cheek, "I have to go figure out what to wear, I'm gonna call Lanie and we'll go shopping." "Ok." I then walked into the bedroom and dialed Lanie's number. I told her about the party and what to wear. She squealed on the other end and told me she was so excited that I was actually going to a book party. But then she told me that she couldn't go shopping because she had just gotten called in, to show medical students the proper way to preform an autopsy. I told her to enjoy work and she laughed on the other end. We then said our good byes and I hung up. I then sulked into the living room and sat on the couch. Castle must've noticed because he then came over and sat down next to me. I then turned and laid my head on his lap. He smiled, and I couldn't help prevent the blush from coming onto my cheeks.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Lanie can't go shopping with me, she has medical students to attend to." I said, closing my eyes. "I'll go shopping with you!" Castle said all giddy. "Thanks for the offer Castle but you don't have to do that for me," "I want to, I finally get a chance to see you change and-" "No, no, no. If you come you won't be in the changing room with me." "Aww, why not?" "because I said so." "Fine." "Ok then let's go."

It didn't take that long to get ready, By the time we left it was 12:30. James went to college with Alexis till 3:00 because it was bring a sibling day. The drive to the shop was short and my hand was entwined with Castle's. "We're here." He stated turning off the car, stepping out, and opening the door for me. We then walked in together and the lady standing at the front of the store asked us what we were looking for. We told her it was a party, and she handed me a few options. I then went to the dressing room with Castle close behind. At first he came in with me, and I then pushed him out. The first dress was navy blue. I was tight and it ended just a little above my knees. It had lace sleeves that ended a few inches below my elbow. I showed Castle and he started drooling. I then tried on the next one. It was strapless, and black. It was extremely short and showed my whole back. I didn't like it one bit, but I knew Castle being Castle would. So once he saw it, I closed the door and thought. "Castle,"  I began, "I can't seem to get it off all the way, could you help me?" I said sounding as vulnerable as possible.

"Ok...so I can come in?" he asked and I could hear his hand on the knob. "yes." I finished unlocking the door. He slowly stepped in and when he saw me half naked, his pants instantly tightened, I smiled on the inside and became vulnerable.

"I can't reach the zipper could you help me?" I said. I had a strapless bra on but Castle thought I didn't. The zipper started at my lower back and ended at my butt. Once the zipper was done, Castle cupped my butt with one hand, and to prevent me from gasping he covered my mouth with the other hand. He then started laying soft and gentle kisses down my neck. I had to bite down on my cheek to prevent myself from moaning. Castle then moved his hand under the dress. When his hand touched my skin I immediately grew chills down my spine.  He placed his fingers inside of me and I couldn't help but moan. Castle's hand over my moth helped, but when he heard me he chuckled. Oh how I would I get him back. I slowly lost control of my legs and couldn't stand. Castle then stopped and turned me to face him. "Is that better?" he asked a smirk across his face. "Uh-Eh- I...yes. Now go I still have another dress."

"Ok."

I then tried on the last dress. It was red and short but not to short. It had one tank top sleeve. I knew Castle would love it. I loved it. When I showed him, I could tell that he had a hard time to not just rip the dress off when he had the chance. I then changed back into my regular clothes and then we paid. It was 3:00 when we got back home and I wanted to leave early so we got ready. I curled my hair and put on subtle makeup, with black stilettos.  When I came out of the bathroom Castle had his red shirt on that I loved so much, which also complimented my dress. We linked arms and we took his Ferrari to the party. By the time we got there it was packed with fans and celebrities. Castle sped right in front of the red carpet. It felt like a movie. Castle got out and his fans screamed and the cameras started flashing. He then helped me out of the other side and he then wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked into the "club" where the signing as held. The lights flashed and the music roared and it was different than any other book signing that I had ever seen.

As the party was dying down I was sitting at the bar alone. I was staring at Castle who was talking to some fangirls who wanted to take Rick home for fun. He was flirting back but trying to get away. I then thought of a plan. I got up drink in hand and walked over. "Hey Castle. Um- excuse me can I talk to him alone?" I asked politely as possible. "We were her first." One of them came back scooting in front of him and pushing me back. "Yeah but have you slept with him no, I have." "I'm going to by the end of the night." "No you're not." I finished dumping my drink on her. She gasped and her and her friend then went into the bathroom. When I turned back I saw Castle, staring at me with shock. "I hate coming to these parties." I said and grabbed Castle's hand and took me and him into a back corner that was dark and secluded. I then threw him against the wall and started kissing him and ruffling my fingers in his hair. He then spun us around so I was against the wall. "Is Katherine Beckett jealous?" He teased placing his hand on my breast. "Hell yeah. I said moaning and biting on his bottom lip. Just then he lifted me up still keeping me on the wall. I wrapped my legs around his waist. Just then the two girls who I insulted had come out of the bathroom and gasped when they saw me with "their" man. Castle didn't care. He then moved his lips from mine to my neck, sucking on my pulse. I looked over at the girls and smirked they just grew more jealous and walked away.

Soon after Castle and I left the party and headed home for a night of fun-filled events.

Hey! I'm hating this break from Castle. I'm starting to develop ideas for a new story, and stuff like that. Though I'm not sure I want to end this story yet.     - K
