Emmi's pov
Amanda left a week ago.
There goes my best friend.
I've tried to get back into a normal routine, but it's really hard.
I didn't know it would be this hard.
"Maya!" I yelled and ran downstairs.
"Yeah Em?" she asked putting her books away.
"Can we go out!?" I asked.
"Sure!" she smiled.
Maya's pov
Emmi put on her shoes and I slid on my jacket. We were both going out for a sisters day when there was a knock on the door. I got it and it was Lucas.
"Ranger Rick." I greeted and smiled.
"Pancake." he smiled. "Emmi."
"Huckleberry." she smiled.
"I was wondering if you guys want to go out?" he asked.
"Yeah!" Emmi cheered.
"I guess then it's the three of us." I shrugged and we left.
Carnival
I shivered and Emmi was trying to win a prize with Lucas.
"Cold?" Lucas asked and I nodded. "Here." he took off his coat and put it around me. I smiled and he put his arm around me.
"Lucas! It's too hard!" Emmi whined and we laughed.
"Here Em." I said and helped her shoot.
"We did it!" she cheered after making the basket. She hugged me and got her prize.
"See Em!?" I asked excited. She nodded and Lucas put her on his shoulders.
Overall, I've missed these days.
