Chapter 52

Maya's pov

"You two are so irresponsible." Riley said to Farkle and Lucas.

"No we aren't!" they argued and we nodded.

"You two totally are." I said.

"Fine, we'll prove to you that we are responsible!" Farkle told us.

"We will...take Auggie and Emmi on a fun day tomorrow!" Lucas suggested.

"Fine!" we both said and walked into Mr. Matthews class.

Lucas' pov

So today we are taking Emmi and Auggie out because everyone thinks we are irresponsible.

"Ready?" I asked Emmi. We would be meeting Farkle and Auggie at Topanga's.

"Yes sir Huckleberry!" she cheered and I picked her up and put her on my shoulders.

"You are a mini Maya." I told her.

"I know!" she told me proudly.

New York

We were all sight seeing and I look over and don't see Emmi.

"Farkle! Where's Emmi?" I asked frantically.

"Uh oh." he said.

"EMMI!?" we all yelled.

"Well, Maya is going to kill you." Auggie said and we nodded.

Emmi's pov

"LUCAS!? FARKLE!?" I yelled looking around.

Oh no.

Where are they?

Darn it!

"Emmi?" someone asked. I turned around and saw Maya and Riley.

"Maya! Riley!" I yelled and hugged them.

"What happened?" Maya asked. "Are you ok?"

"I'm lost!" I cried.

"Where are they?" Riley asked and a few seconds later we saw them.

"OH A COWBOY IS GOING DOWN!" Maya yelled and they turned around.

"Emmi!" they yelled and ran over and hugged me.

"Maya we are-" Farkle started.

"You two are going down. Ranger Rick you thought Tombstone the bull was hard? Well you thought wrong!" Maya yelled at him.

Maya's pov

"Maya we're sorry!" Farkle said.

"She could've been hurt! She could've been kidnapped! My-nevermind. Let's move on." I said and started walking away. They followed me all the way to Topanga's, this time not losing anyone.

"Maya, this goes deeper then losing her doesn't it?" Lucas asked and I turned at him.

"So what of it does?" I snapped.

"Maya-" he started.

"SHE COULD'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED FROM MY JERK OF A FATHER!" I screamed at him and punched him in his chest.

"Maya, I am so sorry." he whispered and pulled me in for a hug. I sobbed into his chest.

"Maya it's ok to be scared." he said. I pulled away from the hug and wiped my eyes.

"Who's scared? I'm not scared of anything." I told him.

"Maya, yes you are. You're scared of your father, scared of thunder and lightning storms." Lucas told me.

"Wait only two people know that-" I started and looked over and Riley and Emmi.

"I kept it a secret!" Emmi told me. I looked at RIley.

"Peaches." Riley smiled and I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Thank you." I told Lucas.

"You're welcome. He can't hurt you guys anymore." he told me and I smiled.
