I woke up to rain outside of my window, the gentle tapping my soundtrack as I got dressed and grabbed a book from the shelf.
Curling up infront of the fire in the chair Lucy fell asleep in last night, I lost myself to the world of Edgar Allen Poe.
...
A knock draws me from the raven, and I look up to see Diggory standing in the doorway.
"Evangeline, I see you have discovered the wondrous tales and poems of Edgar Allen Poe." He says, sitting on the sofa across from me.
I nod.
"Young Lucy Pevensie has discovered something even more wondrous, in a wardrobe in a spare room while playing hide and seek." He says.
I cock my head confusedly at him.
"Lucy has discovered Narnia." Diggory says.
I jump up and run out of the room.
"That's my girl." I hear him say.
I find Lucy in her bedroom, crying.
I walk up to her and lay a hand on her shoulder, my mark burns through the bandage as I yank my hand away before it burns Lucy.
She watches the N burn with the fire, and I sigh.
"What is that?" Lucy asks me.
I grab her arm with my other hand and follow the pull of my hand to a spare room.
I push the door open and let go of Lucy.
She watches me intently.
I point at myself, then at the wardobe.
She looks between the wardrobe and I, and then her eyes grow wide.
"You're from Narnia?" She asks me.
I smile and nod.
"How did you get here? Did you come from the wardrobe too? Do you know Mr. Tumnus the fawn?" She asks me in a rush.
I shake my head as her face falls.
"Do you know Aslan?" She asks.
I nod enthusiastically.
"How do you know him?" She asks, astonished.
I point at me, and then I rock my arms like I am holding a baby.
"He's your son?" She asks, confused.
I shake my head no.
"He's my father." I say, my voice sounds weird and scratchy since I next to never use it.
Lucy stares at me in awe.
"Wait until the others hear!" She says, "they will believe me then!"
Oh boy. Here we go.
