Aslan's P.O.V.
"What is it Strawberry?" I ask the horse.
"How is Evangeline doing?" He asks me.
"Evangeline? Well I presume." I say.
"Bring her back your greatness. Don't let her fade away from here." He says, then he turns his tail and leaves me alone.
Evangeline's P.O.V.
I unsheath Telmar and hold it up to the dummy.
The dummy holds up its wooden staff and then it swings.
I roll out of the way and thrust Telmar towards the dummy, but it parries me with its staff.
"What are you doing here, my daughter?" Aslan says.
I look at him, but stay silent.
"Weapons are for men, not girls." He says.
I stay silent and continue to spar with the dummy.
"Evangeline." He says.
I ignore him.
"Evangeline answer me." He says.
He really hasn't been paying attention at all to me then, because if he did, he would have noticed that I don't talk.
I go to jab at the dummy, but instead a sword crosses mine instead.
I look up and see that it is Aslan who has dared cross swords with me. The others in the field fall silent and watch.
I step into the middle of the sparring ring, and face Aslan.
"Evangeline, you hardly even know how to handle a sword." Aslan says.
I see many men smile at his ignorence.
Aslan makes the first move, stabbing at my ribs with a deft move of his arm.
I flick my wrist and Telmar parries the blow and then I swing at Aslan's exposed chest.
Aslan narrowly evades the attack and counters with a foolishly extravagant move.
I easily side step his attempt and manage his sword from him, crossing both at his neck.
He stares at me in shock.
Many of the men are whispering.
I hand Aslan his sword and sheath Telmar before stalking off.
Men.
