Chapter 2

(Nightfall's POV)
I was really coming to like Toothless, he's cute, sweet and caring. I was just abandoned and he helped me, I was coming to like the guy Hiccup as well, he never harmed me. Even though he kept me from the village it was too keep me safe. I was sleeping next to Toothless when Hiccup came in the room and said
"Hey Nightfall, I think it's time we show you around don't ya think?" I purred and then I saw Toothless still sleeping soundly
"Don't worry Nightfall, he's not an early riser" I nudged him. And he shot up in alarm, I giggled at the sight and then I walked off for breakfast. He followed and said
"Hey um I was wondering if we could go by the cove later?"
"Sure! But why?"
"You'll see"
"Haha very funny"
He walked to our meal with a smirk. Ok it's official, I like him.
(Toothless' POV)
I can't wait to go to the cove later! I really like her and I want to pop the question.
(Nightfall's POV)
An hour later
When Toothless got back from Hiccups training he walked me to the cove and said
"I got dinner ready"
"Thanks"
"No problem" he has that smile! That you just can't get enough of. We flew down into the cove and I saw a big pile of fish, I sat down with him near the waters edge. Then he said
"Listen can I ask you something?"
"Sure"
"Um I was wondering if you could be my mate?"
"Omg of course!" We started nuzzling each other and then I put my head down for some sleep, and he put his head on me. It was a perfect night, I love him. He put his wing on me shielding me from the cold, we both made purring sounds as we wrapped our tails around each other. Then it was a night I would never forget.
