I Found You

Chapter 6

(Nightfall's POV)
We walked to Stormflys nest and saw 3 little hatchings, they were very cute. The first one I saw was a boy, he had black eyes with a red and green speckled body. The only girl has green eyes and a deep blue body, very beautiful. Then there was the last boy, he was white and purple with blue eyes. I said to Stormfly
"They are very beautiful"
"Thank you"
"What are there names?"
"This one with the black eyes is Blaze, the green eyed one is Emerald and the blue eyed one is Waves"
"Very nice names"
"Thank you" then Dawn went to the cliff with her father and they sat there watching the ocean, I watched them until I heard Toothless say
"What is your dream Dawn?"
"Um I really want to fly, and fly"
"That was my wish too, and sure enough I got it. Exploring the lands with my best friend Hiccup"
"Who's that?"
"He saved me, and I became his best friend"
"Can I meet him?"
"Of course you can, when we head home in a couple days"
"Where is home?"
"An island named Berk, it's a great place where dragons and Vikings live in peace, all thanks to Hiccup. Since you are my daughter Hiccup will protect you with his life as he did mine. He lost his father to protect me"
"Wow he sounds nice daddy"
"Oh he is, he is I assure you of that"
"That's nice" then she yawned and nestled up near his stomach, I silently heard him whisper
"Sleep well my child, I love you with all my heart" I felt a tear go down my cheek. He will never abandon us. Then Stormfly walked up to me and said
"I know what you thinking, that he will abandon you?"
"Yes"
"Don't worry he loves you too much, and plus if he did it would be for a good reason"
"That's comforting, thank you for your guidance"
"It's nothing really"
"No really I mean it, your very wise for a Nadder you know that"
"Thank you, for as my mother was too"
"Well she must of passed that down to you"
"Yes I suppose so"
"He really does love his kids"
"And you" I walked up to Jet who was playing with his new friends Wave and Blaze, Emerald just sat next to the cliff, watching the waves. I went up too her and said
"Would you like a friend?"
"Yes, but who"
"My daughter, Dawn"
"Oh yes I would love too meet her!"
"Ok just let me go get her"
"Ok" I walked up to Toothless and said
"May I borrow Dawn?"
"Of course, then me and you can talk"
"Of course babe" I grabbed Dawn by the scruff and introduced her to Emerald, they got along just fine, as did Blaze Wave and Jet. I walked back to Toothless and he said
"I heard what you said to Stormfly"
"Yes"
"Nightfall, I would never abandon you and our kids. I love them and you too much, plus what is a good enough reason?"
"I don't know" he started to nuzzle me and we wrapped our tails together. Then he said
"You and the kids go back to the cave I have to check on the dragons ok?"
"Sure,I'll meet you there"
"Ok" he licked me then left, I told the kids were leaving and we walked home. When we go there I put the kids to bed and drifted off into sleep. Then I heard footsteps outside the cave, at first I thought it was Toothless but it was human foot steps. A big figure emerged from the darkness, I growled and covered my children with my wings. He said
"Well look what we have here! 3 Night Furies!" He stepped closer and then lots more men came in, they circled us and I stood up defensively. They started rushing at us and I tried protecting my kids but they grabbed Dawn and I tried getting her but they pushed me back, I was pinned. They were putting us in nets until I heard a screeching sound and the leader said
"Yes! Daddy's home! Quick he's the Alpha! Thank you for getting him for us!" I roared and glared my teeth. Toothless landed in the cave and attacked every soldier, he went up against the leader and he said
"Why hello Toothless, wouldn't Hiccup be crushed?" He knows Toothless? Then that's when the fight began Toothless had him pinned but then his shoulder got hit with a arrow, he ignored the pain and chased them out. He limped up to us and when he did he collapsed, I screamed
"Toothless!" Stormfly must of heard because she landed on the cave. She looked at Toothless and said
"It's alright, you'll be fine"
"It's hurts!" He roared
"I'll go and get some things" then she flew off
"Hey, hey it's ok, it's ok"
"Are you ok?"
"Yes"
"Are the kids?"
"Yeah there fine" the kids came up to him and nuzzled his head. He took them under his paw until Stormfly came back, I told the kids to go to Ember - Stormflys mate- as they went Stormfly put water on his wound and he screamed, gods it would hurt. Then she put these herbs on pressed his pressure spot and he was asleep. Then Stormfly said
"Your very lucky you know"
"Yes I know"
"If it wasn't for him you would most likely be trapped in a boat"
"How do you know?"
"Nightfall, I was kept in a cage for most of my life"
"Oh sorry"
"It's ok"
"How did he lose his tail fin?"
"When we were at war, hiccup shot him down and he lost his fin. Of course hiccup helped him get back on his feet and so on"
"Well how did Hiccup lose his leg?"
"Some say he lost it in the fire, but the truth is Toothless bit it off while he was trying to get him"
"Oh"
"Yeah, but Hiccup doesn't know that"
"Well that's ok then"
"Yes I guess it is"
"Who's your rider?"
"Her name is Astrid, she likes Hiccup"
"Well he is pretty cute for a human"
"Yes I guess, but it's not the looks she goes by. It's the courage he has"
"Well I didn't just go by Toothless' looks either"
"Sure" we both talked for a while until my kids came back and she had to leave. The kids curled up next to us and we were fast asleep.
