I can't take this any more. I am done with it all. Everything.
Negative thoughts swamped my mind as I tucked my hair behind my ears getting ready to do something I know I will probably soon regret.
As tears escaped my eyes uncontrollably, I leant back in the bath gently feeling the water gradually cover my face.
I have only one person in my life that would care if I died - my
brother. He was the only person that had been there for me since my dad had walked out on us, abandoning us in this hell hold we call home.
Joe was the only one that actually considered my thoughts, the only one that would comfort me every time a nightmare occurred. But to be honest, my whole life was a nightmare.
Sobbing quietly underwater, I knew that it wouldn't be much longer. I held my breath, counting in my head. A minute soon went by which followed into the second. The words in my mind soon became a haze. And then it was over. Everything was over.
