Louis jumped away from Harry as if he was burned. Alice came in, her hair dyed a dark brown instead of the red he saw her in last time. She froze when she saw Louis. Harry was facing away from her, only his head visible over the couch. He was about to turn to see who it was when Louis grabbed one of his braids and kept him facing away from Alice.
"Oh, Louis, hi." she says, blushing slightly, "I didn't know you had erm...a boyfriend."
"Oh! Yeah, it must have slipped my mind! Eleanor is in her room." He says, Harry biting his lip awkwardly.
"Okay, um, so hi, I'm Alice." She raises her eyebrow when Harry doesn't turn around to greet her.
"He's not much of a talker." Louis says frantically. She looks at the two boys curiously before she walks around the couch. Louis' heart thrums wildly in his chest as Harry's face comes into view. A look of recognition flashes in Alice's eyes.
"Holy shit. Um I mean...hi? I mean--fuck oh my god--shit sorry." She stammers. Harry grins sheepishly, pulling Louis back onto his lap.
"Y-You and Louis? What? Aren't you with Taylor Swift? Fuck, I'm confused."She stutters, her face heating up.
"It's a long story. Um, do you mind not telling anyone about this? I know it's a lot to ask but please?" Louis asks, playing with one of Harry's braids absentmindedly. She nods, speechless.
"O-Of course! Um, I'll just leave you guys be...bye!" She runs into Eleanor's room without another word. Louis is left wondering why the fuck did Eleanor gave her a key to their flat.
"So she has a key?" Harry asks when she's gone.
"I suppose."
"And I don't because...?" Harry questions, wiggling his eyebrows. Louis rolls his eyes, promising to get him one later.

"Wanna go out or something?" Harry asks suddenly, as they lay in Louis' bed.
"Out? We can't really go out anywhere, H." Louis answers.
"We can. I can say you're a friend. We just can't be eating each other's faces off while we're out there." Harry says, smiling slightly. Louis huffs and shrugs.
"Sure, I guess we can go out." Louis says, "Where ya taking me?"
"There's this little cafe a few miles from here, called El Petit Ardeur." It came out sounding like rubbish on Harry's tongue. Louis giggled, nuzzling his face into Harry's neck.
"I think you said it wrong." Louis says smiling.
"Oh shut it. It's French. Let's go." Harry says, pulling Louis up.
"I need to change and take a shower. I'm not going out looking like this."
"Oh and these braids are any better." Harry comments rolling his eyes.
"You can take them off." Louis offers, gesturing for him to come nearer. Harry shrugs and leans his head down. Louis' fingers find their way to Harry's hair, pulling off the braids and massaging his scalp while humming a random song under his breath.
Once they were done, Louis headed to the bathroom to shower quickly. He was out within twenty minutes, freshly shaven and new clothes on.
Harry smiled at Louis, full of fond and complete admiration before they both headed out of the flat.
Harry drove for a few miles before pulling up to a cafe with a creamy white sign reading El Petit Ardeur in handwriting.
The minute Harry stepped out of the car two girls that looked no older than eighteen widened their eyes and pulled out their phones.
Louis stepped out alongside, keeping his distance from the taller boy. Harry waved at the girls before walking into the cafe, Louis trailing behind him.
"In a few minutes, there'll be fans and paps here." Louis mumbles. Harry raises an eyebrow and shrugs, sitting himself on one of the many stools. The people inside were staring at Harry, their eyes full of recognition. Louis sat across from him.
"So, what do you want babes?" Harry asks, propping his chin on the palm of his hands.
"I don't know, I've never been here before. Let me go see what there is." Harry nods and watches Louis get up and head to the small clear case with different pastries.
"Um, H, this shits expensive." Louis says. Harry rolls his eyes and meets Louis at the case, his hand twitching to rest on the small of his back.
"Just get what you want. I'll pay." Harry reassures him.
"Are you sure? I don't always want you to buy everything for me." Louis mumbles, shyly. Harry scoffs and nods to the case.
"Pick something. We can share it if you want." Harry offers. A woman with straight jet black hair reaching above her shoulders stands behind the counter, looking at Harry with wide eyes.
"Okay. I'll get a Yorkshire tea and we can share a slice of red velvet cake." Louis says, crossing his arms. Harry nods and places the order. The lady bobs her head quickly, rushing to make the two cups of tea.
Louis takes his seat back on the stool by the window. He looks outside to find a few more girls than before, nearing the cafe.
Louis pulls out his phone and scrolls through his Twitter. He followed so many Harry update accounts it was basically all over his feed.
Pictures of him and Harry were the only thing he sees.
Harry and a friend?
I've never seen that boy before.
That guy looks like the fan he met the other day. The one that commented and liked his picture.
Where do I sign up to be in this guys place?
Louis shakes his head and puts his phone away just as Harry comes back balancing two tea cups and a plate with a slice of cake.
"Here you are, princess." Harry says. Louis' cheeks redden.
"If you're going to take me out like this, I think you should refrain from calling me that." Harry grins.
"I like calling you that though." Harry says, shrugging. Louis huffs, rolling his eyes.
A few paparazzi were starting to show. Louis could see some fans crying when they spotted Harry in the cafe. They noticed Louis and started pointing and whispering to each other.
This is going to be a long day.
