I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been dealing personal issues and summer school and I have a bunch of things on my plate so I haven't really had the motivation to write. I'm sorry if this is complete crap and really short. The next chapter will definitely be better.

Mood: River by Bishop Briggs
After over a month of messing with the bears, many knew the meaning behind them, the importance of them. Harry's contract was grudgingly drawing to a close. It was still a few months until he could finally break free, but if Louis didn't think about it, it felt as if tomorrow would be the day. Louis wondered if after all this, after everything was set and done, Harry would still want to be with him.
He shook his head at the thought and continued getting into different poses for a new pair of Adidas shoes. After months of working here, it was kind of boring. The old excitement has worn off and now he just counts the minutes until break from the antique clock in the room.
When he finished, his phone was filled with missed calls and text messages from Eleanor and Harry. He read through most of them and smiled when he saw pictures of them together at their flat.
He was home.
Louis couldn't rush out of the building any faster. He called a taxi and gave him his address. When he reached the flat, he bound up the stairs two at a time. He unlocked the door and walked in.
"Honey, I'm home!" He says dramatically and Eleanor pops her head in from the kitchen.
"Your hubby's in the shower." She replies and Louis salutes her before heading towards the bathroom. He could hear Harry singing quietly to himself. He makes his way to the toilet and flushes it. A few seconds pass before Harry is cursing about the hot water.
"Eleanor what the—" he stops when he pokes his head out from behind the sliding door.
"Lou! You little shit!" He says big smiles widely.
"Is this how you greet your boyfriends after months of not seeing them?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest. Harry hums and closes the shower again.
"I don't know. Come in here and maybe you can show me how to properly greet you." He answers and Louis takes it as a challenge. He strips out of his clothes and jumps into the shower along with him.

"Truth be told, I did miss you." Harry whispers while they lay on Louis' idiotically small bad, minutes after getting out of the shower. Harry's skin is cold and damp from the shower, hair letting small droplets of water fall onto the crevice of Louis' collarbone where he's lying.
"I know you did. I missed you too. Your house is awfully lonely without you there." Louis comments and Harry hums.
"Lonely even when I'm there too." He says and kisses Louis' jaw softly. His hands are splayed on Louis' bare stomach, fingers dancing against his skin. The smaller boy has always hated his small pudge but Harry tells him otherwise.
"How're the bears?" Louis asks suddenly.
"Fine. In my bag. A lot of people already know what it means. My management went into a frenzy, though." Harry whispers the last part and Louis turns to look at him, asking him to evaluate. The taller lad makes a small noise and shifts awkwardly.
"They got really mad and told me to stop but I said no. I said that there wasn't anything in my contract about putting rainbow bears on stage and they threatened to sue me for trying to leak my sexuality?" Harry ends it questioningly, with a small chuckle.
"They can't just do that." Louis mutters and Harry hums in approval.
"I told them that. They're running out of moves to make and just want as much of my money as possible before I quit their contract." Harry explains, hands running down the curve of Louis' waist softly. The smaller boy moves to say something when Eleanor walks in without knocking.
"El, what the fuck?" Louis sneers and she just rolls her eyes.
"I just wanted to know if you guys wanted some grilled cheese." She says and Harry sits up.
"Definitely." He replies and Louis gets up along with them. The boys slip into a pair of sweats and sit in the living room with Eleanor.
They eat in silence until Harry's phone rings halfway through the meal. He pulls it out and groans when he sees its Richard.
"Hello?" He says when he answers it. Louis could hear Richard talking loudly, although it comes out muffled and garbled. After Harry gives weak attempts to dispute whatever Richard was saying he sighs and hangs up.
"He wants me to do an interview. And completely shut down gay rumors." He says and runs a hand through his hair. Louis wants to strangle Richard with his intestines and then throw the body to lions but he just calmly sets his grilled cheese down and puts his head in his hands.
"I'm not going to do it. I mean, I'm doing the interview but I'm not going to shoot down the rumors."
"You can't just–he's gonna get mad." Louis mutters, pathetically, "I don't want you to get in trouble."
Harry gives him a fond smile and leans over to grab his hand. He squeezes it before letting go.
"I honestly don't give a damn anymore. Just a few more months and I'll be free."
"Have you ever thought about what you're gonna do when your contract ends?" Eleanor asks. Harry shrugs as if the thought just occurred to him.
"Maybe go on break for a bit and sign with a different company." Harry offers and Eleanor gives him an encouraging smile. The finish eating and talking about certain vacation spots that Harry would like to visit again. Through it all Louis can't seem to get the unnerving feeling from his stomach, as if he knows something will go wrong.
