Mood: You Be the Anchor that Keeps my Feet on the Ground, I'll be the Wings That Keep Your Heart in the Clouds by Mayday Parade (such a long name I love)

"Look what I found at the shop downtown." Eleanor beams as she walks into the flat with a wide smile.

Louis looks away from Harry's stare-down, cursing when Harry boasts about winning.

"You didn't win, asshole. This competition has been put on pause until further notice." Louis counters and the taller lad only rolls his eyes.

"What'd you get El?" Louis asks, watching as she smiles brightly.

"Well okay, so I was walking around downtown and I went into one of the shops and I was just looking around, minding my own business, and I found these." Eleanor rambles, pulling out two stuffed rainbow bears from a bag. She smiles at them, placing them on the sofa. They were wearing some type of black outfit that looked eerily kinky.

"Aren't they the cutest? Look, the smaller one is Louis, and this one is Harry. Cute, ain't it?" She asks, placing her hands on her hips as if she's solved all the problems in the world.

"They're lovely. But why do I have to be the small one? What if I—"

"It's not open for discussion. You're the small one." Eleanor says, narrowing her eyes as if asking for a challenge. Harry stands up and takes the bears, setting them on the table and humming in approval.

"Rainbow bear." Harry whispers and smiles. Louis stares at the bears for a moment.

"Rainbow Bondage Bear." Harry lets out a loud laugh, nodding quickly. They stay silent for a few seconds before Harry stands up rather quickly, scaring Louis.

"I have the greatest, possibly, the most idiotic idea ever."

So when Harry went back on tour, the rainbow bears made their first appearance, sitting snugly by the stage. Eleanor already had a Twitter account made and to say it was absolutely stupid to have an account to just post pictures of bears to try and show Harry's fans his sexuality was an understatement. It's was completely idiotic and that's why Louis loved it.

They were already to spur some rumors, wondering how they got there and what they meant. Eleanor scrolled through the Twitter they made and giggled to herself. The pictures were everywhere, people asking who put them there and random things.

"This blew up so fast." Eleanor says softly as they lounged in a small cafe near their flat. Louis leans over to look at what she was doing, resting his head on her shoulder in the process.

The Twitter she made was gaining thousands of followers and it awed and creeped him out at the same time.

Paparazzi were taking pictures of them, and Louis knows that everyone will comment on how cute they are later on. Louis only rolls his eyes, continuing to stare at Eleanor's phone, watching as she scrolls through the different comments.

"We have to get home. Come on." Louis murmurs and they stand, leaving the cafe quickly. Eleanor intertwines their hands and walks next to him while staring down at her phone.

From afar they looked like a couple that absolutely loathed each other, choosing to stare at their phone screens instead. It was a bit laughable that in reality they were both gay and Eleanor was checking on a Twitter account about stuffed rainbow bears.

Louis continues to walk with Eleanor, trying to avoid the looks of people passing by, muttering about recognition to each other.

They make it a few feet before two teenage girls walk up to them and Louis smiles at them kindly.

"You're Louis Tomlinson, right?" One asks and Louis nods dumbly.

"Yeah." He acknowledges.

"Are you dating Harry Styles?" She asks and Louis' a little taken aback by her straightforwardness.

"I'm sorry?" He questions and Eleanor moves to defend him.

"He's in fact straight." She says and Louis can't help but blush. The girls don't seem to let up, only smiling when they see how flustered Louis is.

"Sure. So it's true then. Those pictures of you kissing another guy. How'd they leak anyways?" She asks and Louis doesn't know what to do, feeling cornered by their intrusion.

"I–listen, you guys are asking very personal questions and I'd like it if you please stop." Louis begs sternly and the girls just shrug before continuing to pester him with questions. Eleanor has had enough and within seconds she's dragging him away, the girls only shouting questions at their retreating figures.

Three weeks later and the bears have become the talk of social media. Everyone was in a frenzy, trying to figure something out about them.

"I think most of them have gotten the message." Harry says through the phone, sounding a bit ecstatic that he's able to show a bit of himself that no one has seen.

"This is such a dumb idea." Louis giggles and Harry laughs along.

"It really is." The older lad says.

"We're gonna get in so much trouble."

"Definitely."

The line falls silent but neither of them mind, content listening to the sound of their breaths mingling.

"Where are you?" Louis asks and Harry thinks for a moment.

"Right now I'm in Illinois. I don't know where I'm going tomorrow, though." Harry replies, voice sounding suddenly tired. Louis wishes he was here so they could be holding each other, nimble hands feeling the expanse of bodies, just being together.

"Just a few more weeks, right? Then you'll be on break again?" Louis asks hopefully. Harry's loud sigh makes him deflate like a balloon.

"About that...they want me to add extra shows because they sold out so quickly. I think I'll be back in at least a month and a half." He explains and Louis feels like an idiot. He knew dating an international celebrity meant not seeing each other a lot, but a month and a half?

"Hurry home." Louis whispers.

"Keep the bed warm for me, lovely." Harry replies and Louis smiles into the line.

"It's pretty small so I'm hopeful it'll be pretty warm when you get back." Louis retorts.

"Oh that reminds me. I left a spare key for my house over there. It's behind the mailbox." He says and Louis feels like swooning.

"You're leaving me a key to your humongous mansion?" He asks and Harry hums in response.

"Definitely." The older lad says, "This time try not to get lost."

"I would slap you if you weren't in another continent." Louis retorts. Harry laughs halfheartedly.

They continue to talk, their voices becoming hushed and barely audible until they finally fall asleep, the line still connected.
