Mood: If I Could Fly by One Direction
Louis eyed Richard with curious eyes. Quit his job? What is he on about? Louis can't possibly quit, he needs to support him and El.
"What do you mean?" Eleanor asks, her voice quiet. Richard smirks, eyeing her slightly. Louis moves in front of her; this bitch is not hitting on his best friend.
"Well, I don't know if you've noticed, Miss. Calder, but you are very attractive." Louis gags and Richard shakes his head.
"I didn't mean it like that. What I mean to say is that you'd be an amazing model. Don't you think? And...same goes for you, Mr. Tomlinson."
Is he saying what Louis thinks he's saying? Louis, become a model? He's got to be joking right? Eleanor was frozen behind him, trying to comprehend what he just said.
"Are you shitting me?" Eleanor squeaks finally.
Richard shrugs.
"I can get Louis here a deal with Adidas or something and...I feel like you can make your own modeling trend." He motions to Eleanor.
"Me? Become a model?" Louis asks because, he's never thought of himself as that attractive. Eleanor on the other hand, was drop dead gorgeous.
"If you choose. If not, Eleanor can be a model and you can be the lucky boyfriend of hers that doesn't need to work." He explains and Louis shakes his head.
"I-I don't know. This is all too much for me." Louis stutters because how the fuck did he end up in this position? If someone came up to him a few weeks ago and told him that he'd be dating Harry Styles and being offered a job as an Adidas model, he'd laugh. Because...things like this don't happen to people like him.
"Go ahead and take a few days to think about it. In the meantime, enjoy your first paycheck." With that, he stands up and leaves the flat. The apartment is quiet for a few seconds, the only sounds is the revving of an engine outside.
"I--this is really big." Eleanor finally speaks up. She was fiddling with the end of her shirt, her eyebrows furrowed.
"I know." Louis mumbles, taking a seat on the loveseat. Eleanor sits next to him.
"Lou...what are we gonna do? Oh my God, I still need to talk to Alice. She's gonna freak. Should we do this?" Eleanor asks and Louis shrugs.
"I don't know. This is all so fucking crazy! Can you believe that just a couple weeks ago we were sitting here blogging about Harry Styles?" Louis exclaims, running a hand down his face. Eleanor lets out an anxious chuckle.
"If we do this...we're going to be famous, Lou." Eleanor says and she sounds excited. Their life was slowly turning into something of a book. Something that seemed could only happen in books and peoples imagination. Louis reached over and picked up the check that was assigned to him. A thousand pounds were in this small paper. He checks the time.
It's past six in the evening. What time would it be in California? He fucking hates time zones. He picked up his phone and sent a text to Harry.
Louis: I need to talk to you about something xx

Harry woke up in a hotel room somewhere in San Diego. It was past eight in the morning. He shifted in the sheets, the bed was cold and lonely. He picked up his phone and saw he had a text from Louis. Without a second thought, he called him. Louis answered after the second ring.
"Hey."
"Hi, princess. What did you need to talk about?" Harry asks, sitting up in his bed.
"So, Richard came by yesterday and had some very interesting requests." He could hear Louis chuckle on the line.
"What'd he say?" Harry yawns.
"Well, he asked El and I to quit our jobs." Louis mutters and Harry quirks an eyebrow.
"Is that so?"
"Yeah, and he offered us a modeling deal." Harry was definitely listening now.
"Really? What did you tell him?" Harry asks, getting out of bed. He had rehearsal in a few hours.
"I told him I needed to think about it. I don't really know anything about modeling but Eleanor is a natural at it." Louis explains.
"Well, whatever you choose, I'll support you a hundred percent." Harry offers. He looked around the empty hotel room and sighed. He'd only been away from Louis for a day and he was already missing him.
"Our lives are crazy, you know that?" Louis laughs into the line. A smile tugs on Harry's lips.
"Definitely." He replies, "But, I think it's better to be a little crazy. My life was utterly boring before I met you, princess. You're my light."
"Stop being such a sap. I'm going to melt." Louis giggles. Harry could imagine him curled up on the couch, in an oversized jumper with the sleeves rolled over his hands as he blushed profusely. He felt himself smiling widely.
"I miss you already." Harry sighs into the line.
"I miss you too. God, is that bad? You've only been gone for a day and it feels like I'm missing a part of me." Louis whispers into the phone.
He could faintly hear Eleanor on the line yelling about how they're disgustingly sweet to each other and that makes him chuckle.
"Tell El I miss her too." Harry says, smiling widely. Just then, there's a knock on his hotel door.
"Harry? It's time to get up and get dressed. We're heading to the stadium in an hour for rehearsal." One of his guards, Rick, says through the door. Harry frowns and sighs.
"Hey, princess, I have to go. I'll try and call you."
"Okay..." He could basically feel Louis' sadness through the phone. Ever since they met, they depended on each other like they depended on air. The next words that tumble out of Harry's mouth are something neither of them expected.
"Hey...maybe you and El could take a few days off of work and stop by California..."
