Reporters- A love story ❤

Part 6

That evening, Kabir goes to Ananya's house and breaks the news to her parents. They are stunned. Kabir then proceeds to tell them about his past and how he found the love of his life in their daughter and that he won't be able to live without her, and she feels the same for him. He also tells them that if they don't approve, they will break up. There is silence all around.

After a few minutes, Mr. Kashyap calls Ananya outside, and tells him, "I will not find a better match for my daughter than you. Keep her happy. My blessings are with the both of you." Mrs. Kashyap too gives her blessings happily. Kabir and Ananya look at each other and smile.

They then have dinner together and Armaan asks Kabir if he can call him "jiju" (term for brother- in- law) Kabir blushes and simply nods.

After dinner, Kabir bids adieu and promises to see Ananya the next day. Once home, he calls her and the first thing she says is, "I didn't know it would be so easy to get my parents approval. I love you even more now."

Kabir replies, "I love you the most. And my love, before you begin arguing about who loves the other person more, kindly look at your watch. Its late and you should go to bed otherwise, you'll reach late tomorrow and I cannot pardon you every time. I have some work to finish, I'll see you tomorrow."

Ananya says, "Yes, my editor-in-chief, I'll reach on time and you too sleep soon. good night my love." Saying so, she disconnects the phone and smiling like an idiot, she goes to bed.

Days pass and one day, Sunny's love for Trisha results into him proposing to her and her acceptance. They all  quickly plan a dinner and leave as soon as Kabir finishes his 9 pm bulletin.

Its a triple date for them! Ronnie states that it is their 5 year anniversary the next day and thus, the gang decides to stay till midnight so that they can celebrate Ronnie and Richa's anniversary.

After a long celebration, just as they are wrapping up, to go home, Tinu calls Ananya and tells her that he has another lead and suspects it to be associated with terrorism.

He advises her to bring Kabir along with her and disconnects the call. She immediately tells everyone about the lead and Kabir asks her to call her parents and tell them that she is going to follow a lead. They, then, leave.

Tinu has called Laxman as well and Tinu tells them that a few top officers and minister had a secret meeting the previous evening and one of his friends working at a small restaurant also heard two people talking suspiciously.

Kabir agrees to find more with the help of Khurrana and Ananya insists on coming along. Its almost morning when Kabir drops Ananya home and also he plans to have a word with her parents.

He goes inside and asks them to convince Ananya to not accompany him to find more on the lead that they just received since it would prove to be dangerous and he doesn't want anything to happen to her.

Before her parents could say something, Ananya tells him a little angrily, "I am not leaving you and going anywhere. I will be with you till death does us apart." Kabir is left speechless and is left with no choice but to agree to Ananya accompanying him.
