The hot water felt so nice on my sore body. I sighed in satisfaction. It was then that I heard my boyfriend yelling at me.
"Jess what the fuck? You're wasting the water bill!"
I sighed before yelling back "I was just getting out now."
I had literally been in the shower for two minutes. I wrapped a towel around my naked body and walked to my bedroom shivering. I grabbed some sweatpants and a shirt. As I fastened my bra I looked down at the purple spots on my stomach. The bruises didn't seem as bad as usual. I quickly put on a shirt and my pants and wrapped my hair in a towel.
"Jess!" My boyfriend yelled again. I went to him as quick as I could. I didn't want to get hit even more then I had.
"Jess honey I'm so sorry." Brad purred. "I didn't mean to hit you."
I nodded as I did every time.
"I just get so jealous when I see you with other people." he continued.
I nodded again.
"Let's go on a date tonight." Brad said. "Wear that sexy black dress that I love."
I hated that dress with a passion. It didn't cover my boobs at all and it was so short it would make a nun faint. Brad himself had gotten it for me.
"Okay." I said softly. I walked back to my room and put on the dress. When I came out of my room Brad looked at me critically.
"Aren't you going to wear makeup? We are going out in public you know that right?" I sighed inside but pasted a fake smile on my face.
"Of course I am babe." I went back to my room and applied a smoky eye and some dark lipstick. When I came out of the bedroom again Brad eyed my body hungrily and then when he saw my face he whined.
"How can I kiss you when you have lipstick on?"
Suddenly pissed off I said "If you have a problem you can leave me home." Brad looked at me for a second before slapping me across the face bringing immediate tears to my eyes.
"I expect you ready in ten minutes." He growled in a low voice.
I nodded and went back and covered the red hand print on my face with some foundation.
