Authors note: This is my first story. That I've ever written. So please be patient with me :) I'd really appreciate some notes etc, so please feel free to comment or message me. I'll try to update fairly regularly. We'll just have to see how it goes!

I hope you enjoy it!

The screaming was so loud, but I couldn’t complain. Amongst the thousands of voices screaming their heads off was mine, and my best friend, Lucy. We were screaming and jumping and dancing along with the other 4000 people in the venue. Panic! At the Disco were my favourite band, and they had been since I’d first heard them when I was 15. I’d been so upset when Jon and Ryan had left the band, but now I loved The Young Veins almost as much as I loved P!atd.

Panic! Had finally come to play a show in my town for the first time in years. They’d stopped here on their first UK tour, but since then I’d had to travel all over the country to see them, once even going to Germany to see them play! I was in the fan club, on the street team and went to every gig, every meet and greet, everything. Me and Lucy were women obsessed. Sometimes it felt like we were the oldest girls there. At 21, we probably were sometimes. We’d been teenagers when we’d first heard them, and we still acted like it when it came to Panic!

The gig was AMAZING. The music, the lights, Brendon’s dancing…it was all incredible. At one point, and I swear it’s true, Brendon actually looked right at us and winked. We screamed even louder, ecstatic. There could be nothing better than being winked at by Brendon Urie. Except, you know, kissing Brendon Urie. Amongst other things.

The show ended, and feeling a little hoarse, me and Lucy left the venue, giddy and not at all ready to go home. All the younger girls were hanging around outside the venue, trying to get through the gates to the area where we all knew the band was. Lucy and I joked about staying, trying to catch a glimpse of our favourite boys, but we’d been to enough shows to know that they’d be hidden away for quite a while yet. It was cold outside, being late at night on an October evening, so instead of hanging around, we slipped next door into one of the local pubs for a drink and a run down of the evenings events. We talked about our favourite songs, how good Brendon’s bum looked in his trousers, how much prettier Spencer looked these days and how much we missed the good old days of Jon and Ryan at meet and greets. The time was slipping past us as we laughed and joked, getting more than a little tipsy.

Then I saw something, or rather, someone, who made my heart skip a beat. I grabbed Lucy’s wrist whilst she was mid gesture, causing her to knock her drink over.

“Bloody hell, Sarah! Watch what you’re doing!”

I still hadn’t let go of her wrist.

“Get off me woman. What’s wrong?”

People were starting to turn around and look at us. But I couldn’t say anything. My heart hadn’t started functioning at normal levels again yet. So I just kept staring.

Lucy turned around, and then she saw. And then she screamed.

Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith turned around, looking confused. They looked directly at our table. I pulled Lucy’s arm really hard, attempting to drag her under the table. A plan that failed. Epicly. We knocked the table over, smashing Lucy’s now empty glass and pouring my drink all down my white t-shirt, making me shriek with the icy coldness.

Now there really was no hiding. I started to laugh, just giggling quietly at first, but by the time Lucy joined in, it was full blown roaring. I knew I was going red in the face, never a good colour for a girl with ginger hair, but I just couldn’t help myself. One of the bar staff came over to help us up, cleaning up the broken glass and putting the table back. That was then I noticed the blood. It was coming from Lucy’s hand. A piece of glass must’ve cut her. There was a lot of blood and I didn’t understand how she hadn’t noticed, but I was thankful she hadn’t. Lucy faints at the sight of blood.

“Oh my days, love, are you alright?” a random woman from in the pub asked Lucy, pointing at her hand. Lucy looked down and suddenly turned pale.

“Oh, poo.” I muttered, stepping closer, meaning to catch her, just as Lucy took a step forward to steady herself. Which was when she fainted. I stuck out my arms, but missed completely, letting Lucy fall to the floor with a bang.

Leaving Lucy in the hands of the blood noticing woman, I went over to the bar to ask for a glass of water for Lucy. She was sat up on the floor now, enjoying all the attention ,and she needed a drink to steady herself. I’d done all the normal checks on Lucy, and fortunately, one of the other customers in the pub was a nurse, so she’d been able to help too, cleaning the cut and bandaging it before Lucy woke up. As I waited for the bar man to notice me, I glanced over at the most beautiful men in the room, who surprisingly, didn’t look so out of place here. I smiled at the bar man and thanked him for the water as he handed it over. I was going to have to walk past Brendon and Spencer to get back to Lucy. My heart started to beat faster. I walked past, trying not to stare at them, pretending I hadn’t noticed.

“Is your friend okay?” asked a quiet, accented voice, strange and yet so familiar to me. I turned around to see Brendon Urie, sex god, man of my dreams, the face that had been stuck to my walls for 5 years, smiling at me.

“Yeah, she just, erm, knocked over the table. She’ll be fine. Thanks for asking. That’s really awesome of you.”

Really, Sarah? Awesome? I never say awesome! Not since I was 13. Ugh. My brain was turning to mush. Impressive.

“That’s okay. Listen, me and my friend have decided to buy you a drink to replace the ones that got spilt.” Brendon said, still smiling that beautiful smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling up a little bit.

“Really? Wow, that’d be…”

“Awesome?” finished Spencer for me. If he wasn’t Spencer Smith, he would be receiving death glares. But Brendon laughed and I giggled too, feeling ridiculous.

“We’ll come over in a few minutes, if your friend is okay.” Brendon chuckled, still smiling at me.”

My brain remained mush. I just nodded, then started to walk back to Lucy.

Lucy was staring at me like someone had died.

“What. Just. Happened?” she demanded.

“Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith are buying us drinks and coming over in a minute” I said, trying to seem cool, but inside, I felt like I was fizzing over. Apparantly, Lucy felt the same way, because she let out another shriek. Oh my days, you can’t take her anywhere.

I helped Lucy to her feet before turning around to see the boys looking at us. Spencer waved. I waved back, and they started to walk across the pub to us. The table had been put back, so I pulled over 2 more seats, then sat down, instantly regretting it, as my chair was damp from spilling my drink everywhere. Fantastic. Lucy was already in her chair, so the boys came and sat down between us. Instantly, Lucy started speaking, as fast as possible.

“Oh my days, you guys were wonderful tonight, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s even better than when we went to Glastonbury just to see you play. Brendon, your voice is sounding so good now, I just love it. And the new album is fabulous. I know it’s different to everything you’ve done before, but it’s just part of musical evolution right? Am I right?”

I coughed. Lucy blinked. Spencer look confused. Brendon, the sweetheart that he is, managed to deadpan a reply.

“Absolutely, you’re so right. Musical evolution.”

That was when I started laughing. Again. Lucy joined in. So did Brendon. Spencer still looked confused. All I could think was: “Well, isn’this going well?” right until…

*Hiccough.*

Oh, poo.
