harry's pov

"it has been almost a week since katherine and you have been dating"louis said

"its not date we're just you know"i responded

"yes i know,you like her don't you"he teased poking his fingers on my stomach

"i like her,she is a good Friend"i replied smiling

"you guys are the hottest celebrity couple right now,it's all over the news"he stated

"i'm telling you its nothing serious"i defended

"i know you like her,why don't you propose her.you haven't had a girlfriend since ashley left"he suggested

"aren't you suppose to be on a date with eleanor...hurry up you're getting late"i said as i pushed him out of the door..

"well at least think about it alright"he requested and went..i closed the door and sat on the couch

i do like her.should i ask her to be my girlfriend?this is frustrating..what if she says no,i mean she has never been in a stable relationship...may be louis is right i should give it a try if she says no we can still be friends...

i took out the cellphone from my pocket and texted katherine that i'd pick her up around 7

i was not sure if i really wanted to do this..i went to take a shower...after a while i came out and looked for clothes in my wardrobe...i wore a plain v neck tshirt,cotton pants and a navy blue blazer...

i grabbed my car keys and my wallet...i locked the door and went to my car...i texted katherine that i was on my way....i bought a flower and a box of chocolate on my way...

i stopped infront of her house...i texted her that i was outside..

i took a deep breathe and closed my eyes...am i doing the right thing..

"what's up"i heard kate's voice i opened my eyes and looked at her...

she was looking beautiful...she opened the door and got in..

"were you praying to the lord or something"she asked

"no i was just thinking about stuffs"i smiled

"so where are we going"she asked

"to eat"i chuckled

i started the engine and drove..

we got out of the car and went inside the restaurant

"this place is quiet,are you sure its open"she looked around and asked

"i booked the whole place"i told her and called the waiter..he took us to our table..

i pulled the chair for her and she sat down...

"i heard that your concert date was changed"she asked

"yes it'll be on 15th instead of 14th"i informed

"well you're lucky you'll get to spent your valentine's day with me"she chuckled

"kate you know that i love ashley right"i asked and she nodded

"well i don't know if i'll ever be able to forget her but i..."i stopped...

"ummm i'll be right back"i said and got up

i forgot the flower and chocolate that i bought for her..i went to the car and grabbed the box of chocolate and the flowers and i went back in

"i'm back i said"and sat down "this is for you"i gave her the flowers and chocolate

"awe thank you,you're not planning on making me fat are you"she joked

"now why would i do that"i chuckled..just when i was about to ask her to be my girlfriend her phone rang..it was on the table..i looked at it and i was startled when i saw the picture on her phone...i hurriedly snatched her phone from the table and looked..it was ashley...

"harry what's wrong with you,give me back my phone"kate shouted but i kept staring at the phone,i didn't know what i was to do...i picked up the call but it was too late she had already hung up...
