At It Again

The thought of why Harry and Ron would disguise themselves as Crabbe and Goyle was beyond my reasonable comprehension... Were they just being tricksters? Even so, that's more of a Fred and George type prank. I'll just ask them after class is over with.

After a boring lecture from Lockhart I practically bolted after Ron and Harry which of course was accompanied by Hermione "Ron! Harry! Wait! I need to talk to you" they turned and waited for me to catch up "what's wrong, Melanie?" I tried catching my breathe "w-why were you two disguised as Crabbe and Goyle? I mean.. I can't think of a single reason why you'd want to be Crabbe or Goyle for even a little while.." Harry sighed "well.. See Melanie, we were trying to get some information out of Malfoy about the Chamber of Secrets" I furrowed my brow "why would you think Draco knew anything about that?" They gave me an 'are-you-serious' look so I shrugged "oh" what else was there to say? "You.. Didn't tell him.. Did you?" I smiled "no, I'm still your friend.. I figured you three were up to something but I approve so your secret is safe with me!" Harry smiled while Ron relaxed "thanks Mel! Oh.. Umm.. About some things that were said in there.. You know, about all of us.. Well, sorry we haven't really included you" I twisted my face "wel.. I guess that's what being in separate enemy houses will do to you" they giggled in agreement.

We walked and talked for a while but I was the one who ultimately decided to leave to do homework in the Slytherin common room. It was transfigurations so it was rather simple but time consuming "well, well.. I see you're here Crystaline" I rolled my eyes "its Melanie. And yes, I'm in here doing my homework" I watched in enjoyment as his eyes widened "we had homework?!" I huffed putting my quill down "yes, in transfigurations" he groaned and I laughed "get some parchment and come here, you can copy mine" he stood still kinda stunned "what?" I asked "nothing.. I just can't believe you'd let me copy you.." I raised a brow "well that IS kinda what friends are for... Right?" He nodded and sat next to me beginning to write. That's when the thought came to my mind.. What is the definition of a friend? I mean.. Yes, they should be loyal and love you for you but.. Does the golden trio and I's relationship count as friendship or acquaintances? And Draco.. I'm with him a lot but he was originally my bully! The one who made me not want to come to school! But.. I also have these feelings for him.. I'm not sure what they are since I've never had them before but it's only with him.. No one else.. I'm pretty sure it's not a sign of friendship. "Melanie?" I snapped back out of my thoughts "yeah?" ,alloy was looking at me worried "you were staring at me with a blank expression.. Just making sure you weren't dying or.. Something" I scoffed and continued writing. Stupid jerk.. He's the best.
