I looked to my hand that was much better.. It was slightly scabbed over. The words still quite visible..

I walked into Umbridges class and took my normal seat next to Draco "bloody hell Melanie!" I turned shocked at Draco's outburst and wide eyes "what did you do to your hand?!" I sighed looking at the green emerald ring that lied on the damaged hand "it was a punishment.. From Umbridge" his eyes got even wider but he didn't say anything. Umbridge walked into the room and I tensed up "good morning class" the class said their normal 'Good Morning' but I stayed silent.. That woman was crazy and dangerous, she's not getting a word out of me. She obviously noticed my refusal to greet her "Ms. Crystaline? Why didn't you speak too? Cat got your tongue, darling?" I blankly stared at her smirking face. She will not get the satisfaction of working me up.. No, not now. Not ever. "Perhaps you'd like another detention for ignoring your teacher?" She asked gleefully, I continued to stare blankly at her and shrugged. I must really upset her now... She glares and walks away to teach.

After her class was over I immediately gathered my belongings and sped walked towards the door "Melanie! Wait up!" I turned to see Draco running after me "what's wrong?" I asked curiously "do you want me to.. Um.. Tell my father about your hand?" I looked down at my poor hand "no. Thank you though, it'll just make it worse" he nodded "you didn't lie about being apart of an secret organization, right?" I glanced at Draco's concerned face.. This is it.. "No, I didn't" he nodded satisfied with my answer "I'd better go, if you need help with your hand just let me know" I mumbled a thanks before he ran off to another part of Hogwarts. I'm glad he's so kind to me.. He could definitely make my life a living hell like the others and yet here he is being MY friend.

I walked down the hallway noticing Umbridge talking to Draco, Crabbe and Goyle.. Hmm.. "Melanie! Do you want to join the inquisitional squad?" I turned to Crabbe and began furiously shaking my head, I'd heard of this.. She was sending students around to spy on other students.. But now Draco and Crabbe is apart of it? Why? I thought Draco was disgusted with what she had done to me? But now he's joining her team? That just isn't right. But then again, this is Draco and he'll do whatever it takes to have an upper hand on someone else.

I wandered down the hall towards the room of requirement. We had practice today and I was looking forward to it! I noticed mr. Filch hammering up another rule to the wall while I continued walking.

As I stepped inside I greeted everyone "hey guys!" Harry and the others smiled and we began our lessons. Neville quickly disarmed one of the Patil twins, I was so proud of him! I heard someone else enter but I paid no mind. It wasn't long before there was a forceful bang on the door which caused us to all stop "what was that?" Hermione asked as if we'd know but was met with shrugs and kids mumbling. We all waited until the door was sent open and in walked Mr. Filch along with Crabbe, Goyle and someone who was looking directly at me... Draco. His face was surprised and hurt all at the same time.. I lied to him. I cast my eyes to the ground as Filch took us all to Umbridge, who in turn took us to Dumbledoor. As far as we all knew we'd be expelled from Hogwarts, but to be honest that was the last thing on my mind.. The only thing I was concerned about was how sad Draco looked when he caught sight of me. I wish I could talk to him or tell him I'm sorry for lying to him but even then I doubt he'd forgive me.. He was Draco after all.
