Muggle World

  A few weeks in my vacation and my parents decided to take a trip to the muggle world! And they said I could go! Yay! I've always been curious as to what the muggle world looked like.

"Melanie Crystaline! If you don't get your behind down here this instant we'll leave you behind!" I darted down the stairs in my muggle clothing "look mummy! I'm a muggle!" I laughed "yes, you look very muggle-ish" she laughed while patting my back. I was wearing a white shirt and green jacket with regular denim skinny jeans and a pair of plain white sneakers.. I wanted to blend as much as possible so I let my natural wavy hair flow as it pleased. "Remember, Absolutely NO MAGIC!" My mother emphasized loudly "I know! I'm not allowed magic anyways.. I'm underage.. I'd rather not get expelled from Hogwarts" mum nodded understandingly "okay! Whose ready?" Dad asked while clapping his hands.

The process to get to the muggle world was pretty easy and smooth sailing, all we had to do was run through the wall to Kings Cross station. Kinda like what the Wizards who lived in the muggle world would do to get to the train for Hogwarts. As I ran through the wall I looked around "wow.. It's.. Dirty" was all I could say while looking at the garbage on the ground. While trying to find something positive to say I was shoved forward "out of the way, kid!" A man in a suit said angrily "hmph! More like excuse me!" I mumbled loudly "what'd you say you little brat?" BRAT!? Who does this imbecile think he is?! "I said learn some manners you brute! Filthy excuse of a muggle!" I shouted angrily "Melanie! I don't want to hear that come out of you mouth ever again!" Father.. Whoops.. I glared to the man who huffed and walked away "he started it! He shoved into me and had the nerve to-" I was interrupted by my mother "no! You hush right now! You're not acting very lady like right now! It's embarrassing" I frowned "sorry" they both shook their heads in disapproval "stupid muggles..." I whispered under my breath.

It took forever for my parents to be done in the muggle world.. I stood outside a store and waited for my parents to be done with whatever they were doing.. I didn't care. Quite frankly, I'm still upset that they yelled at me over that stupid muggle! Ugh. "Melanie?" I turned to see Harry "Harry! Hey!" I waved to him "what are you doing here?" I pointed towards the store behind me "I came with my mum and dad" he nodded "I'm with my aunt and uncle.." I made a saddened face.. His aunt and uncle were the absolute worse! They're quite heard of in the wizard world. "Oh.. Sorry" he shrugged "it could be worse I guess" no.. It really couldn't from what I've heard, they make him sleep in a broom cabinet. "Boy! Get over here! It's time to go!" I looked behind Harry to see a two fat males and a stuck up thin woman.. Just looking at them sickened me "good luck with that.." I offered "thanks. See you at school!" He turned and ran back "bye Harry!" I went back to leaning against the wall but not before hearing Harry's cousin talking to him "how do you know her?! Is she your girlfriend? Pfft! No way, she's way to pretty for you!" I laughed under my breathe.. Pfft.. As if.

Finally mum and dad came out "time to go, baby" I nodded and took hold of my father's hand. Mother tried to reach for my other hand but I quickly pulled it away and placed it on father's hand to.. She's just not in my good graces right now.. And she obviously got the hint, her face showed hurt. I did feel bad but she needs to realize she should have listened to my side of the story before jumping me just for calling that man a 'filthy muggle' it's not even that big of a deal really. I can't wait to return to Hogwarts.
