Colton backed me up against the wall, both of his hands near my head. I flinched slightly, before staring into his blue eyes.
"What won't you tell me?"
I felt my heart jump at his closeness and tried to gain control of my thoughts.
"Nothing." I said calmly.
He placed his hand on my cheek and I swore my heart stopped at his touch.
"Please tell me," He whispered, leaning closer to me.
I couldn't look away from his concerned gaze, his minty breath fanning my face in waves.
"No." I replied, mentally cursing myself for my voice cracking.
Colton's lips lightly grazed mine and I gasped slightly.
"Why not?"
My body started to shake at his proximity and before I could think, I ducked under his arm and ran downstairs, past the sweaty, dancing bodies, and out the front door. I thought I heard someone yelling my name, but I kept running and running until couldn't feel my feet anymore.
